Topological condensed matter systems from class A and class AII of the classification table have received classical electromagnetic and mechanical analogs and protected wave-guiding with such systems has been demonstrated experimentally. Here we introduce a map which generates classical analogs for all entries of the classification table, using only passive elements. Physical mechanical models are provided for all strong topological phases in dimension 2, as well as for three classes in dimension 3. This includes topological super-conducting phases, which have never been attempted with classical systems.
Non-trivial braid-group representations appear as non-Abelian quantum statistics of emergent Majorana zero modes in one and two-dimensional topological superconductors. Here, we generate such representations with topologically protected domain-wall m
We show that compositions of time-reversal and spatial symmetries, also known as the magnetic-space-group symmetries, protect topological invariants as well as surface states that are distinct from those of all preceding topological states. We obtain
Classifications of symmetry-protected topological (SPT) phases provide a framework to systematically understand the physical properties and potential applications of topological systems. While such classifications have been widely explored in the con
Bulk boundary correspondence in topological materials allows to study their bulk topology through the investigation of their topological boundary modes. However, for classes that share similar boundary phenomenology, the growing diversity of topologi
We classify topological phases of non-Hermitian systems in the Altland-Zirnbauer classes with an additional reflection symmetry in all dimensions. By mapping the non-Hermitian system into an enlarged Hermitian Hamiltonian with an enforced chiral symm
