We study the prospects of measurement of the branching ratio of $h to mu ^+ mu ^-$ at the International Linear Collider (ILC). The study is performed at center-of-mass energies of 250 GeV and 500 GeV, using fully-simulated MC samples with the International Large Detector (ILD) model. For both center-of-mass energies, the two final states $qoverline{q}h$ and $ u overline{ u}h$ have been analyzed. For an integrated luminosity of 2000 fb$^{-1}$ at 250 GeV and 4000 fb$^{-1}$ at 500 GeV, corresponding to the H20 running scenario as well as its staged version, the precision on $sigma times mathrm{BR}(h to mu ^+ mu ^-)$ is estimated.

We report on a measurement of the decay $K_Lrightarrowmu^+mu^-gamma$ from Fermilab experiment E799. We observe $207$ candidate signal events with an estimated background of $10.5 pm 4.0$ events and establish $B(K_Lrightarrowmu^+mu^-gamma) = (3.23pm 0 .23(stat) pm 0.19(sys))times 10^{-7}$. This provides the first measurement of the $Kgammagamma^*$ form factor in the muonic Dalitz decay mode of the $K_L$.
A search for the rare decays $B^0_s tomu^+mu^-$ and $B^0 tomu^+mu^-$ is performed at the LHCb experiment. The data analysed correspond to an integrated luminosity of 1 fb$^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV and 2 fb$^{-1}$ a t 8 TeV. An excess of $B^0_s tomu^+mu^-$ signal candidates with respect to the background expectation is seen with a significance of 4.0 standard deviations. A time-integrated branching fraction of ${cal B}(B^0_s tomu^+mu^-) = (2.9^{+1.1}_{-1.0})times 10^{-9}$ is obtained and an upper limit of ${cal B}(B^0 tomu^+mu^-) < 7.4times 10^{-10}$ at 95% confidence level is set. These results are consistent with the Standard Model expectations.
From the 2002 data taking with a neutral kaon beam extracted from the CERN-SPS, the NA48/1 experiment observed 97 $Xi^{0}rightarrow Sigma^{+} mu^{-} bar{ u}_{mu}$ candidates with a background contamination of $30.8 pm 4.2$ events. From this sample, the BR($Xi^{0}rightarrow Sigma^{+} mu^{-} bar{ u}_{mu}$) is measured to be $(2.17 pm 0.32_{mathrm{stat}}pm 0.17_{mathrm{syst}})times10^{-6}$.

The absolute branching fraction of $Lambda to p mu^- bar{ u}_{mu}$ is reported for the first time based on an $e^+e^-$ annihilation sample of ten billion $J/psi$ events collected with the BESIII detector at $sqrt{s}=3.097$ GeV. The branching fraction is determined to be ${mathcal B}(Lambda to pmu^- bar{ u}_{mu}) = [1.48pm0.21(rm stat) pm 0.08(rm syst)]times 10^{-4}$, which is a significant improvement in precision over the previous indirect measurements. Combining this result with the world average of ${mathcal B}(Lambda to p e^- bar{ u}_{e})$, we obtain the ratio, $frac{Gamma(Lambda to p mu^- bar{ u}_{mu})}{Gamma(Lambda to p e^- bar{ u}_{e})}$, to be $0.178 pm 0.028$, which agrees with the standard model prediction assuming lepton flavor universality. The asymmetry of the branching fractions of $Lambda to p mu^- bar{ u}_{mu}$ and $bar{Lambda} to bar{p} mu^+ u_{mu}$ is also determined, and no evidence for $CP$ violation is found.
We combine the results of CDF and DO searches for the rare decays B_s to mu+ mu- and B_d to mu+ mu-. The experiments use 364 pb-1 and 300 pb-1 of data respectively. The limits on the branching ratios are obtained by normalizing the estimated sensitiv ity to the decay B+ to J/psi K+, taking into account the fragmentation ratios f_u/f_s(d). The combined results exclude branching ratios of BR(B_s to mu+ mu-) > 1.5x10-7 and BR(B_d to mu+ mu- > 4.0x10-8 at 95% confidence level. These are the most stringent limits on these decays at the present time.
