Recently, several $B$-physics experiments have reported an appreciable deviation from the Standard Model (SM) in the tree-level observables $R_{D^{(*)}}$; the combined weighted average now stands at $approx 4 sigma$. We first show the anomaly necessarily implies model-independent collider signals of the form $pp to b tau u$ that should be expediously searched for at ATLAS/CMS as a complementary test of the anomaly. Next we suggest a possible interconnection of the anomaly with the radiative stability of the Standard Model Higgs boson and point to a minimal effective supersymmetric scenario with $R$-parity violation as the underlying cause. We also comment on the possibility of simultaneously explaining the recently reported $R_{K^{(*)}}$ anomaly in this setup.

We identify a single six-dimensional effective operator $O_{ellell}$ that can account for the Cabibbo angle anomaly naturally, without any tension with the electroweak precision observables. The renormalization group running of $O_{ell ell}$ yields t he required new couplings of $W$ and $Z$ bosons in exactly the right proportion. When generated as a result of a $Z$ model, the non-universal leptonic coupling needed for this operator can also contribute to the lepton flavor universality violating $R_{K^{(*)}}$ anomaly, generating the preferred relation $C_9=-C_{10}$ between the Wilson coefficients. We find the region in parameter space of $Z$ mass and couplings that offer a simultaneous solution to both these anomalies, and argue that $O_{ell ell}$ is a unique single operator that can offer such a resolution. Our arguments may also be extended to multi-operator scenarios like $U_1$ vector leptoquark, which is known to address multiple anomalies that violate the lepton flavor universality.
We revisit the limits on $R$-parity violation in the minimal supersymmetric standard model. In particular, we focus on the high-scale supersymmetry scenario in which all the sparticles are in excess of the inflationary scale of approximately $10^{13} $ GeV, and thus no sparticles ever come into thermal equilibrium. In this case the cosmological limits, stemming from the preservation of the baryon asymmetry that have been previously applied for weak scale supersymmetry, are now relaxed. We argue that even when sparticles are never in equilibrium, $R$-parity violation is still constrained via higher dimensional operators by neutrino and nucleon experiments and/or insisting on the preservation of a non-zero $B-L$ asymmetry.
From the current ATLAS and CMS results on Higgs boson mass and decay rates, the NMSSM is obviously better than the MSSM. To explain the fine-tuning problems such as gauge hiearchy problem and strong CP problem in the SM, we point out that supersymmet ry does not need to provide a dark matter candidate, i.e., R-parity can be violated. Thus, we consider three kinds of the NMSSM scenarios: in Scenarios I and II R-parity is conserved and the lightest neutralino relic density is respectively around and smaller than the observed value, while in Scenario III R-parity is violated. To fit all the experimental data, we consider the chi^2 analyses, and find that the Higgs boson mass and decay rates can be explained very well in these Scenarios. Considering the small chi^2 values and fine-tuning around 2-3.7% (or 1-2%), we obtain the viable parameter space with light (or relatively heavy) supersymmetric particle spectra only in Scenario III (or in Scenarios I and II). Because the singlino, Higgsinos, and light stop are relatively light in general, we can relax the LHC supersymmetry search constraints but the XENON100 experiment gives a strong constraint in Scenarios I and II. In all the viable parameter space, the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon (g_{mu} - 2)/2 are generically small. With R-parity violation, we can increase (g_{mu} - 2)/2, and avoid the contraints from the LHC supersymmetry searches and XENON100 experiment. Therefore, Scenario III with R-parity violation is more natural and realistic than Scenarios I and II.

We propose a supersymmetric explanation for the anomalously high forward backward asymmetry in top pair production measured by CDF and D0. We suppose that it is due to the t-channel exchange of a right-handed sbottom which couples to d_R and t_R, as is present in the R-parity violating minimal supersymmetric standard model. We show that all Tevatron and LHC experiments t tbar constraints may be respected for a sbottom mass between 300 and 1200 GeV, and a large Yukawa coupling >2.2, yielding A_{FB} up to 0.18. The non Standard Model contribution to the LHC charge asymmetry parameter is Delta A_C^y=0.017-0.045, small enough to be consistent with current measurements but non-zero and positive, allowing for LHC confirmation in the future within 20 fb^-1. A small additional contribution to the LHC t tbar production cross-section is also predicted, allowing a further test. We estimate that 10 fb^-1 of LHC luminosity would be sufficient to rule out the proposal to 95% confidence level, if the measurements of the t tbar cross-section turn out to be centred on the Standard Model prediction.
A recent CMS search for the right handed gauge boson $W_R$ reports an interesting deviation from the Standard Model. The search has been conducted in the $eejj$ channel and has shown a 2.8$sigma$ excess around $m_{eejj} sim 2$ TeV. In this work, we e xplain the reported CMS excess with R-parity violating supersymmetry (SUSY). We consider resonant selectron and sneutrino production, followed by the three body decays of the neutralino and chargino via an $mathcal{R}-$parity violating coupling. We fit the excess for slepton masses around 2 TeV. The scenario can further be tested in neutrinoless double beta decay ($0 u beta beta$) experiments. GERDA Phase-II will probe a significant portion of the good-fit parameter space.
