Within the extension of MSSM by two right handed neutrinos, which masses are degenerate at tree level, we address the issue of leptogenesis. Investigating the quantum corrections in details, we show that the lepton asymmetry is induced at 1-loop level and decisive role is played by the tau lepton Yukawa coupling. On a concrete and predictive neutrino model, which enables to predict the CP violating $delta $ phase and relate it to the cosmological CP asymmetry, we demonstrate that the needed amount of the baryon asymmetry is generated via the resonant leptogenesis.

It has been recently shown that the quantum Boltzmann equations may be relevant for the leptogenesis scenario. In particular, they lead to a time-dependent CP asymmetry which depends upon the previous dynamics of the system. This memory effect in the CP asymmetry is particularly important in resonant leptogenesis where the asymmetry is generated by the decays of nearly mass-degenerate right-handed neutrinos. We study the impact of the non-trivial time evolution of the CP asymmetry in the so-called Minimal Lepton Flavour Violation framework where the charged-lepton and the neutrino Yukawa couplings are the only irreducible sources of lepton-flavour symmetry breaking and resonant leptogenesis is achieved. We show that significant quantitative differences arise with respect to the case in which the time dependence of the CP asymmetry is neglected.

We discuss how the cosmological baryon asymmetry can be achieved by the lepton family asymmetries of heavy Majorana neutrino decays and they are related to CP violation in neutrino oscillation, in the minimal seesaw model with two heavy Majorana neut rinos. We derive the most general formula for CP violation in neutrino oscillation in terms of the heavy Majorana masses and Yukawa mass term. It is shown that the formula is very useful to classify several models in which $e-$, $mu-$ and $tau-$leptogenesis can be separately realized and to see how they are connected with low energy CP violaton. To make the models predictive, we take texture with two zeros in the Dirac neutrino Yukawa matrix. In particular, we find some interesting cases in which CP violation in neutrino oscillation can happen while lepton family asymmetries do not exist at all. On the contrary, we can find $e-$, $mu-$ and $tau-$leptogenesis scenarios in which the cosmological CP violation and low energy CP violation measurable via neutrino oscillations are very closely related to each other. By determining the allowed ranges of the parameters in the models, we predict the sizes of CP violation in neutrino oscillation and $|V_{e3}^{MNS}|$. Finally, the leptonic unitarity triangles are reconstructed.
Effects of the lightest neutrino mass in flavoured leptogenesis when the CP-violation necessary for the generation of the baryon asymmetry of the Universe is due exclusively to the Dirac and/or Majorana phases in the neutrino mixing matrix $U$ are di scussed. The type I see-saw scenario with three heavy right-handed Majorana neutrinos having hierarchical spectrum is considered. The orthogonal parametrisation of the matrix of neutrino Yukawa couplings, which involves a complex orthogonal matrix $R$, is employed. Results for light neutrino mass spectrum with normal and inverted ordering (hierarchy) are reviewed.
We study the impact of the nontrivial time evolution of the CP asymmetry in resonant leptogenesis, both in the one-flavour case and with flavour effects included. We show that significant qualitative and quantitative differences arise with respect to the case in which the time dependence of the CP asymmetry is neglected.
We perform a thermal unflavored leptogenesis analysis on minimal left-right symmetric models with discrete left-right symmetry identified as generalized parity or charge conjugation. When left-right symmetry is unbroken in the lepton Yukawa sector, t he neutrino Dirac coupling matrix is completely determined by neutrino masses and mixing angles, allowing CP violation needed to generate leptogenesis totally resides in the low-energy sector. With two lepton asymmetry generation ways, both type I and mixed type I$+$II neutrino mass generation mechanisms are considered. After solving the Boltzmann equations numerically, we find that the low-energy CP phases in the lepton mixing matrix can successfully produce the observed baryon asymmetry, and in some cases, the Dirac CP phase can be the only source of CP violation. Finally, we discuss the interplay among low-energy CP phase measurements, leptogenesis, and neutrinoless double beta decay. We show that the viable models for successful leptogenesis can be probed in next-generation neutrinoless double-beta decay experiments.
