We obtain a perturbative solution for rotating charged black holes in 5-dimensional Einstein-Maxwell-Chern-Simons theory with a negative cosmological constant. We start from a small undeformed Kerr-AdS solution and use the electric charge as a perturbative parameter to build up black holes with equal-magnitude angular momenta up to forth order. These black hole solutions are described by three parameters, the charge, horizon radius and horizon angular velocity. We determine the physical quantities of these black holes and study their dependence on the parameters of black holes and arbitrary Chern-Simons coefficient. In particular, for values of CS coupling constant beyond its supergravity amount, due to a rotational instability, counterrotating black holes arise. Also the rotating solutions appear to have vanishing angular momenta and do not manifest uniquely by their global charges.
The detection of gravitational waves from compact binary mergers by the LIGO/Virgo collaboration has, for the first time, allowed us to test relativistic gravity in its strong, dynamical and nonlinear regime, thus opening a new arena to confront gene
We construct analytical and regular solutions in four-dimensional General Relativity which represent multi-black hole systems immersed in external gravitational field configurations. The external field background is composed by an infinite multipolar
In this paper, we extend the study of the relationship between the photon sphere and the thermodynamic phase transition, especially the reentrant phase transition, to this black hole background. According to the number of the thermodynamic critical p
We present a new family of asymptotically AdS four-dimensional black hole solutions with scalar hair of a gravitating system consisting of a scalar field minimally coupled to gravity with a self-interacting potential. For a certain profile of the sca
We study static black hole solutions with locally spherical horizons coupled to non-Abelian field in $mathcal{N}=4$ Chern-Simons AdS$_5$ supergravity. They are governed by three parameters associated to the mass, axial torsion and amplitude of the in
