The anomalous dimension of spin-1/2 baryon operators in QCD is derived at leading 1/Nf order using the minimal subtraction scheme. A residual ambiguity, originating from the presence of evanescent operators in dimensional regularization, is parametrized by a function of the renormalized coupling. Our result is shown to agree with previous 2 and 3 loop calculations performed in two different renormalization schemes.

We compute the Dirac spectral density of QCD in a wide range of eigenvalues by using a stochastic method. We use 2+1 flavor lattice ensembles generated with Mobius domain-wall fermion at three lattice spacings ($a=0.083, 0.055, 0.044$ fm) to estimate the continuum limit. The discretization effect can be minimized by a generalization of the valence domain-wall fermion. The spectral density at relatively high eigenvalues can be matched with perturbation theory. We compare the lattice results with the perturbative expansion available to $O(alpha_s^4)$.
This note is based on our recent results on QCD with varying number of flavors of fundamental fermions. Topics include unusual, strong dynamics in the preconformal, confining phase, the physics of the conformal window and the role of ab-initio lattic e simulations in establishing our current knowledge of the phases of many flavor QCD
We report on a continuum extrapolated result [arXiv:1309.5258] for the equation of state (EoS) of QCD with $N_f=2+1$ dynamical quark flavors. In this study, all systematics are controlled, quark masses are set to their physical values, and the contin uum limit is taken using at least three lattice spacings corresponding to temporal extents up to $N_t=16$. A Symanzik improved gauge and stout-link improved staggered fermion action is used. Our results are available online [ancillary file to arXiv:1309.5258].
We present the full analytic result for the three-loop angle-dependent cusp anomalous dimension in QCD. With this result, infrared divergences of planar scattering processes with massive particles can be predicted to that order. Moreover, we define a closely related quantity in terms of an effective coupling defined by the light-like cusp anomalous dimension. We find evidence that this quantity is universal for any gauge theory, and use this observation to predict the non-planar $n_{f}$-dependent terms of the four-loop cusp anomalous dimension.
Motivated by the results of the recent experimental discoveries for charm and bottom baryons, the masses and magnetic moments of the heavy baryons with $J^P=3/2^+$ containing a single heavy quark are studied within light cone QCD sum rules method. Ou r results on the masses of heavy baryons are in good agreement with predictions of other approaches, as well as with the existing experimental data.
