We show how the equations for the scalar field (including the massive, massless, minimally and conformally coupled cases) on de Sitter and Anti-de Sitter spaces can be obtained from both the SO$(2,4)$-invariant equation $square phi = 0$ in $mathbb{R}^6$ and two geometrical constraints defining the (A)dS space. Apart from the equation in $mathbb{R}^6$, the results only follow from the geometry.

We present a dynamical model for a time-asymmetric nonsingular bounce with a post-bounce change of the effective equation-of-state parameter. Specifically, we consider a scalar-field model with a time-reversal-noninvariant effective potential.
Gravitational collapse of a massless scalar field with the periodic boundary condition in a cubic box is reported. This system can be regarded as a lattice universe model. We construct the initial data for a Gaussian like profile of the scalar field taking the integrability condition associated with the periodic boundary condition into account. For a large initial amplitude, a black hole is formed after a certain period of time. While the scalar field spreads out in the whole region for a small initial amplitude. It is shown that the expansion law in a late time approaches to that of the radiation dominated universe and the matter dominated universe for the small and large initial amplitude cases, respectively. For the large initial amplitude case, the horizon is initially a past outer trapping horizon, whose area decreases with time, and after a certain period of time, it turns to a future outer trapping horizon with the increasing area.
We derive expressions for the general five-dimensional metric for Kerr-(A)dS black holes. The Klein-Gordon equation is explicitly separated and we show that the angular part of the wave equation leads to just one spheroidal wave equation, which is al so that for charged five-dimensional Kerr-(A)dS black holes. We present results for the perturbative expansion of the angular eigenvalue in powers of the rotation parameters up to 6th order and compare numerically with the continued fraction method.
We present higher-dimensional generalizations of the Buchdahl and Janis-Robinson-Winicour transformations which generate static solutions in the Einstein-Maxwell system with a massless scalar field. While the former adds a nontrivial scalar field to a vacuum solution, the latter generates a charged solution from a neutral one with the same scalar field. Applying these transformations to (i) a static solution with an Einstein base manifold, (ii) a multi-center solution, and (iii) a four-dimensional cylindrically symmetric solution, we construct several new exact solutions.
The entanglement of the coupled massive scalar field in the spacetime of a Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger(GHS) dilaton black hole has been investigated. It is found that the entanglement does not depend on the mass of the particle and the coupling bet ween the scalar field and the gravitational field, but it decreases as the dilaton parameter $D$ increases. It is interesting to note that in the limit of $Dto M$, corresponding to the case of an extreme black hole, the state has no longer distillable entanglement for any state parameter $alpha$, but the mutual information equals to a nonvanishing minimum value, which indicates that the total correlations consist of classical correlations plus bound entanglement in this limit.
