We study hypermagnetic helicity and lepton asymmetry evolution in plasma of the early Universe before the electroweak phase transition (EWPT) accounting for chirality flip processes via inverse Higgs decays and sphaleron transitions which violate the left lepton number and wash out the baryon asymmetry of the Universe (BAU). In the scenario where the right electron asymmetry supports the BAU alone through the conservation law $B/3 - L_{eR}=const$ at temperatures $T>T_{RL}simeq 10~TeV$ the following universe cooling leads to the production of a non-zero left lepton (electrons and neutrinos) asymmetry. This is due to the Higgs decays becoming more faster when entering the equilibrium at $T=T_{RL}$ with the universe expansion, $Gamma_{RL}sim T> Hsim T^2$ , resulting in the parallel evolution of the right and the left electron asymmetries at $T<T_{RL}$ through the corresponding Abelian anomalies in SM in the presence of a seed hypermagnetic field. The hypermagnetic helicity evolution proceeds in a self-consistent way with the lepton asymmetry growth. The role of sphaleron transitions decreasing the left lepton number turns out to be negligible in given scenario. The hypermagnetic helicity plays a key role in lepto/baryogenesis in our scenario and the more hypermagnetic field is close to the maximum helical one the faster BAU grows up the observable value , $B_{obs}sim 10^{-10}$.

We discuss the effective theory appropriate for studying soft leptogenesis at temperatures T>10^7 GeV. In this regime, the main source of the B-L asymmetry is the CP asymmetry of a new anomalous R-charge that couple to generalized anomalous electrowe ak processes. Baryogenesis thus occurs mainly through R-genesis, and with an efficiency that can be up to two orders of magnitude larger than in usual estimates. Contrary to common belief, a sizeable baryon asymmetry is generated also when thermal corrections to the CP asymmetries in sneutrino decays are neglected which, in soft leptogenesis, implyes vanishing lepton-flavour CP asymmetries. We present general Boltzmann equations for soft leptogenesis that are valid in all temperature regimes.
The majoron, a neutrinophilic pseudo-Goldstone boson conventionally arising in the context of neutrino mass models, can damp neutrino free-streaming and inject additional energy density into neutrinos prior to recombination. The combination of these effects for an eV-scale mass majoron has been shown to ameliorate the outstanding $H_0$ tension, however only if one introduces additional dark radiation at the level of $Delta N_{rm eff} sim 0.5$. We show here that models of low-scale leptogenesis can naturally source this dark radiation by generating a primordial population of majorons from the decays of GeV-scale sterile neutrinos in the early Universe. Using a posterior predictive distribution conditioned on Planck2018+BAO data, we show that the value of $H_0$ observed by the SH$_0$ES collaboration is expected to occur at the level of $sim 10%$ in the primordial majoron cosmology (to be compared with $sim 0.1%$ in the case of $Lambda$CDM). This insight provides an intriguing connection between the neutrino mass mechanism, the baryon asymmetry of the Universe, and the discrepant measurements of $H_0$.

Chiral dynamo converting asymmetry between right and left-handed leptons in the early universe into helical magnetic field has been proposed as a possible cosmological magnetogenesis scenario. We show that this mechanism is strongly affected by visco us damping of primordial plasma motions excited by the dynamo. This effect modifies the expected range of strength and correlation length of the chiral dynamo field which could have survived till present epoch in the voids of the Large Scale Structure. We show the range of parameters of chiral dynamo field that may have survived in the voids is still consistent with existing lower bounds on intergalactic magnetic field from gamma-ray observations, but only if the right-left lepton asymmetry at the temperature T~80 TeV is very high, close to the maximal possible value.
It has recently been pointed out that Gaia is capable of detecting a stochastic gravitational wave background in the sensitivity band between the frequency of pulsar timing arrays and LISA. We argue that Gaia and THEIA has great potential for early u niverse cosmology, since such a frequency range is ideal for probing phase transitions in asymmetric dark matter, SIMP and the cosmological QCD transition. Furthermore, there is the potential for detecting primordial black holes in the solar mass range produced during such an early universe transition and distinguish them from those expected from the QCD epoch. Finally, we discuss the potential for Gaia and THEIA to probe topological defects and the ability of Gaia to potentially shed light on the recent NANOGrav results.
The cosmological evolution can modify the dark matter (DM) properties in the early Universe to be vastly different from the properties today. Therefore, the relation between the relic abundance and the DM constraints today needs to be revisited. We p ropose novel textit{transient} annihilations of DM which helps to alleviate the pressure from DM null detection results. As a concrete example, we consider the vector portal DM and focus on the mass evolution of the dark photon. When the Universe cools down, the gauge boson mass can increase monotonically and go across several important thresholds; opening new transient annihilation channels in the early Universe. Those channels are either forbidden or weakened at the late Universe which helps to evade the indirect searches. In particular, the transient resonant channel can survive direct detection (DD) without tuning the DM to be half of the dark photon mass and can be soon tested by future DD or collider experiments. A feature of the scenario is the existence of a light dark scalar.
