We perform a phenomenological study of the scalar sector of two models that generate neutrino mass at the three-loop level and contain viable dark matter candidates. Both models contain a charged singlet scalar and a larger scalar multiplet (triplet or quintuplet). We investigate the effect of the extra scalars on the Higgs mass and analyze the modifications to the triple Higgs coupling. The new scalars can give observable changes to the Higgs decay channel $hrightarrowgamma gamma$ and, furthermore, we find that the electroweak phase transition becomes strongly first-order in large regions of parameter space.

In this short review, we see some typical models in which light neutrino masses are generated at the loop level. These models involve new Higgs bosons whose Yukawa interactions with leptons are constrained by the neutrino oscillation data. Prediction s about flavor structures of $ell to overline{ell}_1 ell_2 ell_3$ and leptonic decays of new Higgs bosons via the constrained Yukawa interactions are briefly summarized in order to utilize such Higgs as a probe of $ u$ physics.
Radiative symmetry breaking (RSB) is a theoretically appealing framework for the generation of mass scales through quantum effects. It can be successfully implemented in models with extended scalar and gauge sectors. We provide a systematic analysis of RSB in such models: we review the common approximative methods of studying RSB, emphasising their limits of applicability and discuss the relevance of the relative magnitudes of tree-level and loop contributions as well as the dependence of the results on the renormalisation scale. The general considerations are exemplified within the context of the conformal Standard Model extended with a scalar doublet of a new SU(2)$_X$ gauge group, the so-called SU(2)cSM. We show that various perturbative methods of studying RSB may yield significantly different results due to renormalisation-scale dependence. Implementing the renormalisation-group (RG) improvement method recently developed in arXiv:1801.05258, which is well-suited for multi-scale models, we argue that the use of the RG improved effective potential can alleviate this scale dependence providing more reliable results.
In the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), the scalar neutrino $tilde{ u}_L$ has odd R parity, yet it has long been eliminated as a dark-matter candidate because it scatters elastically off nuclei through the $Z$ boson, yielding a cross sec tion many orders of magnitude above the experimental limit. We show how it can be reinstated as a dark-matter candidate by splitting the masses of its real and imaginary parts in an extension of the MSSM with scalar triplets. As a result, radiative Majorana neutrino masses are also generated. In addition, decays of the scalar triplets relate the abundance of this asymmetric dark matter to the baryon asymmetry of the Universe through leptogenesis.

In the context of a left-right extension of the standard model of quarks and leptons with the addition of a gauged $U(1)_D$ dark symmetry, it is shown how the electron may obtain a radiative mass in one loop and two Dirac neutrinos obtain masses in three loops.
We investigate an interesting correlation among dark matter phenomenology, neutrino mass generation and GUT baryogenesis, based on the scotogenic model. The model contains additional right-handed neutrinos $N$ and a second Higgs doublet $Phi$, both o f which are odd under an imposed $Z_2$ symmetry. The neutral component of $Phi$, i.e. the lightest of the $Z_2$-odd particles, is the dark matter candidate. Due to a Yukawa coupling involving $Phi$, $N$ and the Standard Model leptons, the lepton asymmetry is converted into the dark matter asymmetry so that a non-vanishing $B-L$ asymmetry can arise from $(B-L)$-conserving GUT baryogenesis, leading to a nonzero baryon asymmetry after the sphalerons decouple. On the other hand, $Phi$ can also generate neutrino masses radiatively. In other words, the existence of $Phi$ as the dark matter candidate resuscitates GUT baryogenesis and realizes neutrino masses.
