We performed $^{31}$P-NMR measurements on LaFe(As$_{1-x}$P$_{x}$)O to investigate the relationship between antiferromagnetism and superconductivity. The antiferromagnetic (AFM) ordering temperature $T_{rm N}$ and the moment $mu_{rm ord}$ are continuously suppressed with increasing P content $x$ and disappear at $x = 0.3$ where bulk superconductivity appears. At this superconducting $x = 0.3$, quantum critical AFM fluctuations are observed, indicative of the intimate relationship between superconductivity and low-energy AFM fluctuations associated with the quantum-critical point in LaFe(As$_{1-x}$P$_{x}$)O. The relationship is similar to those observed in other isovalent-substitution systems, e.g., BaFe$_{2}$(As$_{1-x}$P$_{x}$)$_{2}$ and SrFe$_{2}$(As$_{1-x}$P$_{x}$)$_{2}$, with the 122 structure. Moreover, the AFM order reappears with further P substitution ($x > 0.4$). The variation of the ground state with respect to the P substitution is considered to be linked to the change in the band character of Fe-3$d$ orbitals around the Fermi level.

To identify the key parameter for optimal superconductivity in iron pnictides, we measured the $^{31}$P-NMR relaxation rate on BaFe$_{2}$(As$_{1-x}$P$_{x}$)$_{2}$ ($x = 0.22$ and 0.28) under pressure and compared the effects of chemical substitution and physical pressure. For $x = 0.22$, structural and antiferromagnetic (AFM) transition temperatures both show minimal changes with pressure up to 2.4~GPa, whereas the superconducting transition temperature $T_{rm c}$ increases to twice its former value. In contrast, for $x=0.28$ near the AFM quantum critical point (QCP), the structural phase transition is quickly suppressed by pressure and $T_{rm c}$ reaches a maximum. The analysis of the temperature-dependent nuclear relaxation rate indicates that these contrasting behaviors can be quantitatively explained by a single curve of the $T_{rm c}$ dome as a function of Weiss temperature $theta$, which measures the distance to the QCP. Moreover, the $T_{rm c}$-$theta$ curve under pressure precisely coincides with that with chemical substitution, which is indicative of the existence of a universal relationship between low-energy AFM fluctuations and superconductivity on BaFe$_{2}$(As$_{1-x}$P$_{x}$)$_{2}$.
Superconductivity and ferromagnetism are two antagonistic cooperative phenomena, which makes it difficult for them to coexist. Here we demonstrate experimentally that they do coexist in EuFe$_{2}$(As$_{1-x}$P$_{x}$)$_{2}$ with $0.2leq xleq0.4$, in wh ich superconductivity is associated with Fe-3$d$ electrons and ferromagnetism comes from the long-range ordering of Eu-4$f$ moments via Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuya-Yosida (RKKY) interactions. The coexistence is featured by large saturated ferromagnetic moments, high and comparable superconducting and magnetic transition temperatures, and broad coexistence ranges in temperature and field. We ascribe this unusual phenomenon to the robustness of superconductivity as well as the multi-orbital characters of iron pnictides.

Co nuclear-quadrupole-resonance (NQR) measurements were performed on various bilayered hydrate cobaltate Na_x(H_3O)_zCoO_2cdot yH_2O with different values of the superconducting and magnetic-ordering temperatures, T_c and T_M, respectively. From meas urements of the temperature and sample dependence of the NQR frequency, it was revealed that the NQR frequency is changed by the change of the electric field gradient (EFG) along the c axis u_{zz} rather than the asymmetry of EFG within the ab-plane. In addition, it is considered that the change of u_{zz} is gaverned mainly by the trigonal distortion of the CoO_2 block layers along the c axis, from the relationships between u_{zz} and the various physical parameters. We found the tendency that samples with u_{zz} larger than 4.2 MHz show magnetic ordering, whereas samples with lower u_{zz} show superconductivity. We measured the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T_1 in these samples, and found that magnetic fluctuations depend on samples. The higher- u_{zz} sample has stronger magnetic fluctuations at T_c. From the relationship between u_{zz} and T_c or T_M, we suggest that the NQR frequency can be regarded as a tuning parameter to determine the ground state of the system, and develop the phase diagram using u_{zz}. This phase diagram shows that the highest-T_c sample is located at the point where T_M is considered to be zero, which suggests that the superconductivity is induced by quantum critical fluctuations. We strongly advocate that the hydrate cobaltate superconductor presents an example of the magnetic-fluctuation-mediated superconductivity argued in the heavy-fermion compounds. The coexistence of superconductivity and magnetism observed in the sample with the highest u_{zz} is also discussed on the basis of the results of our experiments.
The three-dimensional Fermi surface morphology of superconducting BaFe_2(As_0.37}P_0.63)_2 with T_c=9K, is determined using the de Haas-van Alphen effect (dHvA). The inner electron pocket has a similar area and k_z interplane warping to the observed hole pocket, revealing that the Fermi surfaces are geometrically well nested in the (pi,pi) direction. These results are in stark contrast to the Fermiology of the non-superconducting phosphides (x=1), and therefore suggests an important role for nesting in pnictide superconductivity.

We present $^{77}$Se-NMR measurements on FeSe$_{1-x}$S$_x$ samples with sulfur content $x=0,9,15$ and $29%$. Twinned nematic domains are observed in the NMR spectrum for all samples except $x=29%$. The NMR spin-lattice relaxation rate shows that magn etic fluctuations are initially enhanced between $x=0%$ and $x=9%$, but are strongly suppressed for higher $x$ values. The observed behavior of the magnetic fluctuations parallels the superconducting transition temperature $T_c$ in these materials, providing strong evidence for the primary importance of magnetic fluctuations for superconductivity, despite the presence of nematic quantum criticality in this system.
