We elaborate on GoSam, a code-writer for automated one-loop calculations. After recalling its main features, we present a selection of phenomenological results recently obtained, giving relevance at the evaluation of NLO QCD corrections to the production of a Higgs boson in association with jets and heavy quarks.
After reviewing the main features of the GoSam framework for automated one-loop calculations, we present a selection of recent phenomenological results obtained with it. In particular, we focus on the recent calculation of NLO QCD corrections to the
Corrections of 10-30% for backgrounds to the H --> WW --> l^+l^-sla{p}_T search in vector boson and gluon fusion at the LHC are reviewed to make the case for precise and accurate theoretical background predictions.
We present applications of the program GoSam for the automated calculation of one-loop amplitudes. Results for NLO QCD corrections to beyond the Standard Model processes as well as Higgs plus up to three-jet production in gluon fusion are shown. We also discuss some new features of the program.
The presence of colored particles can affect both the single and the pair Higgs productions substantially. For scalar particles, this happens if their portal couplings to the Standard Model Higgs are large and their masses are not too high. In the pr
The experimental capability of recognizing the presence of b quarks in complex hadronic final states has addressed the attention towards final states with bbar{b} pairs for observing the production of the Higgs boson at the LHC, in the intermediate H
