We study the reaction $e^+e^-tobar DD$ near threshold in the $^3P_0$ non-relativistic quark model, including as intermediate states the $J/psi$, $psi(2S)$, $psi(3770)$ and $psi(4040)$ mesons. The work reveals that experimental data strongly favor one of the two $psi(2S)-psi(3770)$ mixing angles derived by fitting to the $e^-e^+$ partial decay widths of the $psi(2S)$ and $psi(3770)$ mesons. The meson $X(3940)$ as well as the resonance around 3.9 GeV observed by Belle and BaBar Collaborations in the reaction $e^+e^-rightarrow bar DD$ is unlikely to be a $cbar c$ $I^G(J^{PC})=0^-(1^{--})$ state.

Using $4.479 times 10^{8}$ $psi(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we search for the decays $psi(3686) rightarrow e^{+}e^{-}chi_{c0,1,2}$ and $chi_{c0,1,2} rightarrow e^{+}e^{-}J/psi$. The decays $psi(3686) rightarrow e^{+}e^{-}chi_{c0 ,1,2}$ and $chi_{c0,1,2} rightarrow e^{+}e^{-}J/psi$ are observed for the first time. The measured branching fractions are $mathcal{B}(psi(3686) rightarrow e^{+}e^{-}chi_{c0,1,2}) = (11.7 pm 2.5 pm 1.0)times10^{-4}$, $(8.6 pm 0.3 pm 0.6)times10^{-4}$, $(6.9 pm 0.5 pm 0.6)times10^{-4}$, and $mathcal{B}(chi_{c0,1,2} rightarrow e^{+}e^{-}J/psi) = (1.51 pm 0.30 pm 0.13)times10^{-4}$, $(3.73 pm 0.09 pm 0.25)times10^{-3}$, $(2.48 pm 0.08 pm 0.16)times10^{-3}$. The ratios of the branching fractions $frac{mathcal{B}(psi(3686) rightarrow e^{+}e^{-}chi_{c0,1,2})}{mathcal{B}(psi(3686) rightarrow gammachi_{c0,1,2})}$ and $frac{mathcal{B}(chi_{c0,1,2} rightarrow e^{+}e^{-}J/psi)}{mathcal{B}(chi_{c0,1,2} rightarrow gamma J/psi)}$ are also reported.
Within the framework of the perturbative QCD approach, we calculate the time-like $B_cB_c(B_c^*)$ form factors $F(Q^2)$ and $A_2(Q^2)$. We include relativistic corrections and QCD corrections, either of which can give about $20%$ correction to the le ading-order contribution, but there are cancellation effects between them. We calculate the cross sections of the $e^+e^-to B_c^-B_c^+(B_c^{*+})$ processes. The cross sections are enhanced at the $Z$ pole to be $sigma^{PP}(Q=m_Z) sim 1.3times10^{-5}text{pb}$ and $sigma^{PV}(Q=m_Z) sim 2.5times10^{-5}text{pb}$, which are still too small to be detected by proposed $e^+e^-$ colliders such as the Circular Electron Positron Collider.

We study the possibility of the scalar charmonium and glueball mixing in $e^+ e^-$ annihilation at $sqrt{s}=10.6$ GeV. The effects can be used to explain the unexpected large cross section ($12pm 4$ fb) and the anomalous angular distribution ($alpha= -1.1^{+0.8}_{-0.6}$) of the exclusive $e^+e^-to J/psichi_{c0}$ process observed by Belle experiments at KEKB. We calculate the helicity amplitudes for the process $e^+ e^- to J/psi H(0^{++})$ in NRQCD, where $H(0^{++})$ is the mixed state. We present a detailed analysis on the total cross section and various angular asymmetries which could be useful to reveal the existence of the scalar glueball state.
We study the process $e^+e^-topsi(2S)pi^{+}pi^{-}$ with initial-state-radiation events produced at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy collider. The data were recorded with the BaBar detector at center-of-mass energies at and near the $Upsilon(mathrm{nS})$ (n = 2, 3, 4) resonances and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 520$fb^{-}$. We investigate the $psi(2S)pi^{+}pi^{-}$ mass distribution from 3.95 to 5.95 $GeV/c^{2}$, and measure the center-of-mass energy dependence of the associated $e^+e^-to psi(2S)pi^{+}pi^{-}$ cross section. The mass distribution exhibits evidence of two resonant structures. A fit to the $psi(2S)pi^{+}pi^{-}$ mass distribution corresponding to the decay mode $psi(2S)to J/psi pi^{+}pi^{-}$ yields a mass value of $4340 pm16$ (stat) $pm 9$ (syst) ${mathrm {MeV/c^{2}}}and a width of $94 pm 32$ (stat) $pm 13$ (syst) MeV for the first resonance, and for the second a mass value of $4669 pm 21$ (stat) $pm 3$ (syst) ${mathrm {MeV/c^{2}}}$ and a width of $104 pm 48$ (stat) $pm 10$ (syst) MeV. In addition, we show the $pi^{+}pi^{-}$ mass distributions for these resonant regions.

Using the data samples of $(1310.6pm7.2 )times 10^{6}$ $J/psi$ events and $(448.1pm2.9)times 10^{6}$ $psi(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we search for the rare decays $J/psi to D^{0} e^{+}e^{-} +c.c.$ and $psi(3686) to D^{0} e^{+}e ^{-} +c.c.$. No significant signals are observed and the corresponding upper limits on the branching fractions at the $90%$ confidence level are determined to be $Br(J/psi to D^{0} e^{+}e^{-} +c.c.)< 8.5times 10^{-8}$ and $Br (psi(3686) to D^{0} e^{+}e^{-} +c.c.)<1.4times 10^{-7}$, respectively. Our limit on $Br(J/psi to D^{0} e^{+}e^{-} +c.c.)$ is more stringent by two orders of magnitude than the previous results, and the $Br(psi(3686) to D^{0} e^{+}e^{-} +c.c.)$ is measured for the first time.
