A new family of polarized ensembles of random pure states is presented. These ensembles are obtained by linear superposition of two random pure states with suitable distributions, and are quite manageable. We will use the obtained results for two purposes: on the one hand we will be able to derive an efficient strategy for sampling states from isopurity manifolds. On the other, we will characterize the deviation of a pure quantum state from separability under the influence of noise.

In this paper we present a criterion for the covering condition of the generalized random matrix ensemble, which enable us to verify the covering condition for the seven classes of generalized random matrix ensemble in an unified and simpler way.
The geometrical description of a Hilbert space asociated with a quantum system considers a Hermitian tensor to describe the scalar inner product of vectors which are now described by vector fields. The real part of this tensor represents a flat Riema nnian metric tensor while the imaginary part represents a symplectic two-form. The immersion of classical manifolds in the complex projective space associated with the Hilbert space allows to pull-back tensor fields related to previous ones, via the immersion map. This makes available, on these selected manifolds of states, methods of usual Riemannian and symplectic geometry. Here we consider these pulled-back tensor fields when the immersed submanifold contains separable states or entangled states. Geometrical tensors are shown to encode some properties of these states. These results are not unrelated with criteria already available in the literature. We explicitly deal with some of these relations.

Using operator methods, we generally present the level densities for kinds of random matrix unitary ensembles in weak sense. As a corollary, the limit spectral distributions of random matrices from Gaussian, Laguerre and Jacobi unitary ensembles are recovered. At the same time, we study the perturbation invariability of the level densities of random matrix unitary ensembles. After the weight function associated with the 1-level correlation function is appended a polynomial multiplicative factor, the level density is invariant in the weak sense.
We generally study the density of eigenvalues in unitary ensembles of random matrices from the recurrence coefficients with regularly varying conditions for the orthogonal polynomials. First we calculate directly the moments of the density. Then, by studying some deformation of the moments, we get a family of differential equations of first order which the densities satisfy (see Theorem 1.2), and give the densities by solving them. Further, we prove that the density is invariant after the polynomial perturbation of the weight function (see Theorem 1.5).
Spectral properties of Hermitian Toeplitz, Hankel, and Toeplitz-plus-Hankel random matrices with independent identically distributed entries are investigated. Combining numerical and analytic arguments it is demonstrated that spectral statistics of a ll these random matrices is of intermediate type, characterized by (i) level repulsion at small distances, (ii) an exponential decrease of the nearest-neighbor distributions at large distances, (iii) a non-trivial value of the spectral compressibility, and (iv) the existence of non-trivial fractal dimensions of eigenvectors in Fourier space. Our findings show that intermediate-type statistics is more ubiquitous and universal than was considered so far and open a new direction in random matrix theory.
