We propose an experiment to search for a new gauge boson, A$^prime$, in $e^+e^-$ annihilation by means of a positron beam incident on a gas hydrogen target internal to the VEPP-3 storage ring. The search method is based on a missing mass spectra in the reaction $e^+e^-rightarrow gamma$ A$^prime$. It allows observation of the A$^prime$ signal independently of its decay modes and life time. The projected result of this experiment corresponds to an upper limit on the square of coupling constant $|f_{etext{A}{^prime}}|^2=1cdot 10^{-8}$ with a signal-to-noise ratio of five to one at an A$^prime$ mass of 15 MeV.

The search method is based on a missing mass spectra in the reaction $e^+e^-rightarrow gamma$ A. It allows observation of the A signal independently of its decay modes and life time. The projected result of this experiment corresponds to an upper limit on the square of the coupling constant $varepsilon^2=3cdot 10^{-8}$ with a signal-to-noise ratio of two to one at an A mass of 5-20 MeV.
The process $e^+e^- to K^+K^-pi^+pi^-$ has been studied in the center-of-mass energy range from 1500 to 2000,MeV using a data sample of 23 pb$^{-1}$ collected with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 $e^+e^-$ collider. Using about 24000 selected even ts, the $e^+e^- to K^+K^-pi^+pi^-$ cross section has been measured with a systematic uncertainty decreasing from 11.7% at 1500-1600,MeV to 6.1% above 1800,MeV. A preliminary study of $K^+K^-pi^+pi^-$ production dynamics has been performed.
Measuring the depolarization rate of a $^3$He hyperpolarized gas is a sensitive method to probe hypothetical short-range spin-dependent forces. A dedicated experiment is being set up at the Institute Laue Langevin in Grenoble to improve the sensitivi ty. We presented the status of the experiment at the 10th PATRAS Workshop on Axions, WIMPs and WISPs.
The theory of mirror matter predicts a hidden sector made up of a copy of the Standard Model particles and interactions but with opposite parity. If mirror matter interacts with ordinary matter, there could be experimentally accessible implications i n the form of neutral particle oscillations. Direct searches for neutron oscillations into mirror neutrons in a controlled magnetic field have previously been performed using ultracold neutrons in storage/disappearance measurements, with some inconclusive results consistent with characteristic oscillation time of $tau$$sim$10~s. Here we describe a proposed disappearance and regeneration experiment in which the neutron oscillates to and from a mirror neutron state. An experiment performed using the existing General Purpose-Small Angle Neutron Scattering instrument at the High Flux Isotope Reactor at Oak Ridge National Laboratory could have the sensitivity to exclude up to $tau$$<$15~s in 1 week of beamtime and at low cost.
We report on the status of the Novosibirsk experiment on a precision measurement of the ratio $R$ of the elastic $e^+ p$ and $e^- p$ scattering cross sections. Such measurements determine the two-photon exchange effect in elastic electron-proton scat tering. The experiment is conducted at the VEPP-3 storage ring using a hydrogen internal gas target. The ratio $R$ is measured with a beam energy of 1.6 GeV (electron/positron scattering angles are $theta = 55 div 75^{circ}$ and $theta = 15 div 25^{circ}$) and 1 GeV ($theta = 65 div 105^{circ}$). We briefly describe the experimental method, paying special attention to the radiative corrections. Some preliminary results are presented.
