We present the results of a search for dark matter production in the monojet signature. We analyze a sample of Tevatron pp-bar collisions at sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6.7/fb recorded by the CDF II detector. In events with large missing transverse energy and one energetic jet, we find good agreement between the standard model prediction and the observed data. We set 90% confidence level upper limits on the dark matter production rate. The limits are translated into bounds on nucleon-dark matter scattering rates which are competitive with current direct detection bounds on spin-independent interaction below a dark matter candidate mass of 5 GeV/c^2, and on spin-dependent interactions up to masses of 200 GeV/c^2.

We present the first signature-based search for delayed photons using an exclusive photon plus missing transverse energy final state. Events are reconstructed in a data sample from the CDF II detector corresponding to $6.3 text{fb}^{-1}$ of integrate d luminosity from $sqrt{s}=1.96$ TeV proton-antiproton collisions. Candidate events are selected if they contain a photon with an arrival time in the detector larger than expected from a promptly-produced photon. The mean number of events from standard model sources predicted by the data-driven background model based on the photon timing distribution is $286 pm 24$. A total of 322 events are observed. A $p$-value of 12% is obtained, showing consistency of the data with standard model predictions.
We present a search for new phenomena in events with two reconstructed $Z$ bosons and large missing transverse momentum, sensitive to processes $pbar{p}rightarrow X_2X_2 rightarrow Z Z X_1 X_1$, where $X_2$ is an unstable particle decaying as $X_2rig htarrow ZX_1$ and $X_1$ is undetected. The particles $X_1$ and $X_2$ may be, among other possibilities, fourth generation neutrinos or supersymmetric particles. We study the final state in which one $Z$ boson decays to two charged leptons and the second decays hadronically. In data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.2 fb$^{-1}$ from proton-antiproton collisions recorded by the CDF II detector at the Tevatron, with center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV, we find agreement between data and standard-model backgrounds. We calculate 95% confidence level upper limits on the cross section of the process $pbar{p}rightarrow X_2X_2 rightarrow Z Z X_1 X_1$ ranging from 50 fb to 1 pb, depending on the masses of $X_1$ and $X_2$.
We report on a search for pair production of first-generation scalar leptoquarks ($LQ$) in $p bar{p}$ collisions at $sqrt{s}$=1.96 TeV using an integrated luminosity of 203 $pb^{-1}$ collected at the Fermilab Tevatron collider by the CDF experiment. We observe no evidence for $LQ$ production in the topologies arising from $LQ bar{LQ} to eqeq$ and $LQ bar{LQ} to eq u q$, and derive 95% C.L. upper limits on the $LQ$ production cross section. %as a function of $beta$, where $beta$ is the branching fraction for $LQ to eq$. The results are combined with those obtained from a separately reported CDF search in the topology arising from $LQbar{LQ} to u q u q$ and 95% C.L. lower limits on the LQ mass as a function of $beta = BR(LQ to eq) $ are derived. The limits are 236, 205 and 145 GeV/c$^2$ for $beta$ = 1, $beta$ = 0.5 and $beta$ = 0.1, respectively.
We report on a search for charge-1/3 third-generation leptoquarks (LQ) produced in ppbar collisions at sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV using the D0 detector at Fermilab. Third generation leptoquarks are assumed to be produced in pairs and to decay to a tau neutrino and a b quark with branching fraction B. We place upper limits on sigma(ppbar->LQLQbar)*B^2 as a function of the leptoquark mass M_{LQ}. Assuming B=1, we exclude at the 95% confidence level third-generation scalar leptoquarks with M_{LQ} < 229 GeV.
We search for high-mass resonances decaying into Z boson pairs using data corresponding to 6 fb^-1 collected by the CDF experiment in pbar{p} collisions at sqrt{s}=1.96 TeV. The search is performed in three distinct final states: ZZ --> l^+l^-l^+l^-, ZZ --> l^+l^- u u, and ZZ --> l^+l^-jj. For a Randall-Sundrum graviton G*, the 95% CL upper limits on the production cross section times branching ratio to ZZ, sigma(pbar{p} --> G^* --> ZZ), vary between 0.26 pb and 0.045 pb in the mass range 300 < M_{G*} < 1000 GeV/c^2.
