We have implemented a variant of the force gradient integrator proposed by Kennedy et.al. and are using it in our production 2+1 flavor DWF simulations with pion masses of 180 MeV in (4.5fm)3 volumes. We find modest speed-ups (sim 20%) from using the force gradient integrator, compared to our previously used Omelyan integrator. On other ensembles, primarily finite temperature 2+1 flavor DWF QCD, we have extensively tuned the Hasenbusch preconditioning masses and achieved speed-ups of 2-3x. Here we have also switched to the force gradient integrator, but this change has not had any impact on the speed. We also report on an improved solver for DWF, which uses Mobius fermions, with a smaller fifth dimension than the original DWF fermions, as an intermediate step in the generation of solutions of the Dirac equation. This approach cuts the number of effective Dirac applications by approximately a factor of 2 when the conjugate gradient iteration count is large.

We show how the integrators used for the molecular dynamics step of the Hybrid Monte Carlo algorithm can be further improved. These integrators not only approximately conserve some Hamiltonian $H$ but conserve exactly a nearby shadow Hamiltonian $til de{H}$. This property allows for a new tuning method of the molecular dynamics integrator and also allows for a new class of integrators (force-gradient integrators) which is expected to reduce significantly the computational cost of future large-scale gauge field ensemble generation.
We present steps towards the computation of the leading-order hadronic contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment on RBC/UKQCD physical point DWF ensembles. We discuss several methods for controlling and reducing uncertainties associated to the determination of the HVP form factor.

We take a new approach to determine the scale parameter $r_0$, the physical masses of strange and charm quarks through a global fit which incorporates continuum extrapolation, chiral extrapolation and quark mass interpolation to the lattice data. The charmonium and charm-strange meson spectrum are calculated with overlap valence quarks on $2+1$-flavor domain-wall fermion gauge configurations generated by the RBC and UKQCD Collaboration. We use the masses of $D_s$, $D_s^*$ and $J/psi$ as inputs and obtain $m_c^{overline{rm MS}}(2,{rm GeV})=1.110(24),{rm GeV}$, $m_s^{overline{rm MS}}(2,{rm GeV})=0.104(9),{rm GeV}$ and $r_0=0.458(11),{rm fm}$. Subsequently, the hyperfine-splitting of charmonium and $f_{D_s}$ are predicted to be $112(5),{rm MeV}$ and $254(5),{rm MeV}$, respectively.

Nucleon isovector vector- and axialvector-current form factors, the renormalized isovector transversity and scalar charge, and the bare quark momentum and helicity moments of isovector structure functions are reported with improved statistics from tw o recent RBC+UKQCD 2+1-flavor dynamical domain-wall fermions ensembles: Iwasaki(times)DSDR gauge (32^3times64) at inverse lattice spacing of 1.38 GeV and pion mass of 249 and 172 MeV.
From simultaneous fits to the data from the 2+1 flavor DWF ensembles generated by the RBC and UKQCD collaborations at two different lattice spacings, we present preliminary continuum results for light hadrons. We focus on light pseudoscalar decay con stants and quark masses. Several approaches to the calculation of the lattice spacing are discussed and the errors associated with the chiral extrapolation are explained. We make use of reweighting in the dynamical strange quark mass such that our ensembles have a self-consistently determined strange quark mass.
