We consider the impact of a 4th generation on Higgs to $gammagamma$ and $WW,ZZ$ signals and demonstrate that the Tevatron and LHC have essentially eliminated the possibility of a 4th generation if the Higgs is SM-like and has mass below 200 GeV. We also show that the absence of enhanced Higgs signals in current data sets in the $gammagamma$ and $WW,ZZ$ final states can strongly constrain the possibility of a 4th generation in two-Higgs-doublet models of type II, including the MSSM.

We review the possible role that multi-Higgs models may play in our understanding of the dynamics of a heavy 4th sequential generation of fermions. We describe the underlying ingredients of such models, focusing on two Higgs doublets, and discuss how they may effectively accommodate the low energy phenomenology of such new heavy fermionic degrees of freedom. We also discuss the constraints on these models from precision electroweak data as well as from flavor physics and the implications for collider searches of the Higgs particles and of the 4th generation fermions, bearing in mind the recent observation of a light Higgs with a mass of ~125 GeV.

We study a warped extra-dimension scenario where the Standard Model fields lie in the bulk, with the addition of a fourth family of fermions. We concentrate on the flavor structure of the Higgs couplings with fermions in the flavor anarchy ansatz. Ev en without a fourth family, these couplings will be generically misaligned with respect to the SM fermion mass matrices. The presence of the fourth family typically enhances the misalignment effects and we show that one should expect them to be highly non-symmetrical in the ${(34)}$ inter-generational mixing. The radiative corrections from the new fermions and their flavor violating couplings to the Higgs affect negligibly known experimental precision measurements such as the oblique parameters and $Zto b {bar b}$ or $Z to mu^+ mu^-$. On the other hand, $Delta F=1,2$ processes, mediated by tree-level Higgs exchange, as well as radiative corrections to $b to s gamma$ and $mu to egamma$ put some generic pressure on the allowed size of the flavor violating couplings. But more importantly, these couplings will alter the Higgs decay patterns as well as those of the new fermions, and produce very interesting new signals associated to Higgs phenomenology in high energy colliders. These might become very important indirect signals for these type of models as they would be present even when the KK mass scale is high and no heavy KK particle is discovered.
The extension of the Standard Model (SM) with two complex $SU(2)_{L}$ scalar triplets enables one to have the Type II seesaw mechanism operative consistently with texture-zero neutrino mass matrices. This framework predicts additional doubly charged, singly charged and neutral spinless states. We show that, for certain values of the model parameters, there is sufficient mass splitting between the two doubly charged states ( $H_1^{pmpm}, H_2^{pmpm}$) that allows the decay $H_1^{pmpm} to H_2^{pmpm} h $, and thus leads to a unique signature of this scenario. We show that the final state $2(ell^{pm} ell^{pm}) + 4b + mET~$ arising from this mode can be observed at the high energy, high luminosity (HE-HL) run of the 14 TeV Large Hadron Collider (LHC), and also at a 100 TeV Future Circular Collider (FCC-hh).
An important physics goal of a possible next-generation high-energy hadron collider will be precision characterisation of the Higgs sector and electroweak symmetry breaking. A crucial part of understanding the nature of electroweak symmetry breaking is measuring the Higgs self-interactions. We study dihiggs production in proton-proton collisions at 100 TeV centre of mass energy in order to estimate the sensitivity such a machine would have to variations in the trilinear Higgs coupling around the Standard Model expectation. We focus on the two b-jets plus diphotons final state, including possible enhancements in sensitivity by exploiting dihiggs recoils against a hard jet. We find that it should be possible to measure the trilinear self-coupling with 40% accuracy given 3/ab and 12% with 30/ab of data.
It is possible to ameliorate the Higgs vacuum stability problem by switching over to two Higgs doublet models (2HDM), ensuring a stable electroweak vacuum up to the Planck scale, even though the top quark mass may be on the high side. However, the si multaneous requirements of perturbative unitarity, and also compatibility with collider and flavour data, constrain the parameter space severely. We investigate the collider signals answering to the regions allowed by such constraints. In particular, the near degeneracy of the neutral heavy scalar and the pseudoscalar is a feature that is probed. The LHC allows distinguishability of these two states, together with signal significance of at least 3$sigma$, in its high-luminosity run. While $e^+ e^-$ colliders may have rather low event rates, muon colliders, cashing on the principle of radiative return, can probe 2HDM scenarios with (pseudo)scalar masses up to a TeV or so, though with the price of losing distinction between the CP-even and odd states.
