An analysis of the direct soft photon production rate as a function of the parent jet characteristics is presented, based on hadronic events collected by the DELPHI experiment at LEP1. The dependences of the photon rates on the jet kinematic characteristics (momentum, mass, etc.) and on the jet charged, neutral and total hadron multiplicities are reported. Up to a scale factor of about four, which characterizes the overall value of the soft photon excess, a similarity of the observed soft photon behaviour to that of the inner hadronic bremsstrahlung predictions is found for the momentum, mass, and jet charged multiplicity dependences. However for the dependence of the soft photon rate on the jet neutral and total hadron multiplicities a prominent difference is found for the observed soft photon signal as compared to the expected bremsstrahlung from final state hadrons. The observed linear increase of the soft photon production rate with the jet total hadron multiplicity and its strong dependence on the jet neutral multiplicity suggest that the rate is proportional to the number of quark pairs produced in the fragmentation process, with the neutral pairs being more effectively radiating than the charged ones.

The mean charge multiplicity in hadronic three-jet Z decays has been measured with the DELPHI detector as a function of the event topology and compared with recent theoretical calculations. The QCD colour factor ratio C_A/C_F was determined, and the gluon contribution to this multiplicity was extracted giving a measurement of the mean charge multiplicity of a two-gluon colour-singlet system as a function of the effective c.m. energy covering the range from 16 to 52 GeV.

DELPHI results are presented on the inclusive production of the neutral mesons rho^0, f_0(980), f_2(1270), K^*0_2(1430) and f_2(1525) in hadronic Z^0 decays. They are based on about 2 million multihadronic events collected in 1994 and 1995, using the particle identification capabilities of the DELPHI Ring Imaging Cherenkov detectors and measured ionization losses in the Time Projection Chamber. The total production rates per hadronic Z^0 decay have been determined to be: 1.19 +/- 0.10 for rho^0; 0.164 +/- 0.021 for f_0(980); 0.214 +/- 0.038 for f_2(1270); 0.073 +/- 0.023 for K^*0_2(1430); and 0.012 +/- 0.006 for f_2(1525). The total production rates for all mesons and differential cross-sections for the rho^0, f_0(980) and f_2(1270) are compared with the results of other LEP experiments and with models.
The polarization of photons produced in radiative $B^{0}_{s}$ decays is studied for the first time. The data are recorded by the LHCb experiment in $pp$ collisions corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3fb$^{-1}$ at center-of-mass energies of $7$ and $8$TeV. A time-dependent analysis of the $B^{0}_{s} to phi gamma$ decay rate is conducted to determine the parameter ${mathcal{A}}^Delta$, which is related to the ratio of right- over left-handed photon polarization amplitudes in $b to s gamma$ transitions. A value of ${mathcal{A}}^Delta=-0.98^{,+0.46,+0.23}_{,-0.52,-0.20}$ is measured. This result is consistent with the Standard Model prediction within two standard deviations.
Using a data sample of 980 ${rm fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ annihilation data taken with the Belle detector operating at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider, we report the results of a study of the decays of the $Omega_c^0$ charmed baryon into had ronic final states. We report the most precise measurements to date of the relative branching fractions of the $Omega_c^0$ into $Omega^-pi^+pi^0$, $Omega^-pi^+pi^-pi^+$, $Xi^-K^-pi^+pi^+$, and $Xi^0K^-pi^+$, as well as the first measurements of the branching fractions of the $Omega_c^0$ into $Xi^-bar{K}^0pi^+$, $Xi^0bar{K}^0$, and $Lambda bar{K}^0bar{K}^0$, all with respect to the $Omega^-pi^+$ decay. In addition, we investigate the resonant substructure of these modes. Finally, we present a limit on the branching fraction for the decay $Omega_c^0toSigma^+K^-K^-pi^+$.
We report a measurement of the differential cross section of $pi^0$ pair production in single-tag two-photon collisions, $gamma^* gamma to pi^0 pi^0$, in $e^+ e^-$ scattering. The cross section is measured for $Q^2$ up to 30 GeV$^2$, where $Q^2$ is t he negative of the invariant mass squared of the tagged photon, in the kinematic range 0.5 GeV < W < 2.1 GeV and $|cos theta^*|$ < 1.0 for the total energy and pion scattering angle, respectively, in the $gamma^* gamma$ center-of-mass system. The results are based on a data sample of 759 fb$^{-1}$ collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+ e^-$ collider. The transition form factor of the $f_0(980)$ and that of the $f_2(1270)$ with the helicity-0, -1, and -2 components separately are measured for the first time and are compared with theoretical calculations.
