We report on our first experiences in simulating Neuberger valence fermions on CLS $N_f=2$ configurations with light sea quark masses and small lattice spacings. Valence quark masses are considered that allow to explore the matching to (partially quenched) chiral perturbation theory both in the $epsilon$- and $p$-regimes. The setup is discussed, and first results are presented for spectral observables.

We report on our study of two-flavor full QCD on anisotropic lattices using $O(a)$-improved Wilson quarks coupled with an RG-improved glue. The bare gauge and quark anisotropies corresponding to the renormalized anisotropy $xi=a_s/a_t = 2$ are determ ined as functions of $beta$ and $kappa$, using the Wilson loop and the meson dispersion relation at several lattice cutoffs and quark masses.
We present a first study of the charmonium spectrum on N_f=2 dynamical, anisotropic lattices. We take advantage of all-to-all quark propagators to build spatially extended interpolating operators to increase the overlap with states not easily accessi ble with point propagators such as radially excited states of eta_c, psi, and chi_c, D-waves and hybrid states.
We present a preliminary analysis of the charm quark mass and the mass and decay constant $f_{D_s}$ of the $D_s$ meson obtained from dynamical simulations of $N_f = 2$ Wilson QCD on the large and fine lattices simulated by the CLS effort.
Mixed action lattice QCD with Borici-Creutz valence quarks on staggered sea is investigated. The counter terms in Borici-Creutz action are fixed nonperturbatively to restore the broken parity and time symmetries. On symmetry restoration, the usual si gnatures of partial quenching / unitarity violation like negative scalar correlator are observed. The size of unitarity violation due to different discretization of valence and sea quark is determined by measuring $Delta_{rm mix}$ and is found to be comparable with other mixed action studies.
We report on our study of two-flavor full QCD on anisotropic lattices using $O(a)$-improved Wilson quarks coupled with an RG-improved glue. The bare gauge and quark anisotropies corresponding to the renormalized anisotropy $xi=a_s/a_t = 2$ are determ ined as functions of $beta$ and $kappa$, which covers the region of spatial lattice spacings $a_sapprox 0.28$--0.16 fm and $m_{PS}/m_Vapprox 0.6$--0.9. The calibrations of the bare anisotropies are performed with the Wilson loop and the meson dispersion relation at 4 lattice cutoffs and 5--6 quark masses. Using the calibration results we calculate the meson mass spectrum and the Sommer scale $r_0$. We confirm that the values of $r_0$ calculated for the calibration using pseudo scalar and vector meson energy momentum dispersion relation coincide in the continuum limit within errors. This work serves to lay ground toward studies of heavy quark systems and thermodynamics of QCD including the extraction of the equation of state in the continuum limit using Wilson-type quark actions.
