The problem of neutrino spin rotation in dense matter and in strong electromagnetic fields is solved in accordance with the basic principles of quantum mechanics. We obtain a complete system of wave functions for a massive Dirac neutrino with an anomalous magnetic moment which are the eigenfunctions of the kinetic momentum operator and have the form of nonspreading wave packets. These wave functions enable one to consider the states of neutrino with rotating spin as pure quantum states and can be used for calculating probabilities of various processes with the neutrino in the framework of the Furry picture.
Exact solutions of the Dirac--Pauli equation for massive neutrino with anomalous magnetic moment interacting with dense matter and strong electromagnetic field are found. The complete system of neutrino wavefunctions, which show spin rotation propert
ies are obtained and their possible applications are discussed.
The relativistic kinetic equations (RKE) for lepton plasma in the presence of a strong external magnetic field are derived in Vlasov approximation. The new RKE for the electron spin distribution function includes the weak interaction with neutrinos o
riginated by the axial vector current ($sim c_A$) and provided by the parity nonconservation. In a polarized electron gas Bloch equation describing the evolution of the magnetization density perturbation is derived from the electron spin RKE being modified in the presence of neutrino fluxes. Such modified hydrodynamical equation allows to obtain the new dispersion equation in a magnetized plasma from which the neutrino driven instability of spin waves can be found. It is shown that this instability is more efficient e.g. in a magnetized supernova than the analogous one for Langmuir waves enhanced in an isotropic plasma.
We study wave propagation in a non-relativistic cold quark-gluon plasma immersed in a constant magnetic field. Starting from the Euler equation we derive linear wave equations and investigate their stability and causality. We use a generic form for t
he equation of state, the EOS derived from the MIT bag model and also a variant of the this model which includes gluon degrees of freedom. The results of this analysis may be relevant for perturbations propagating through the quark matter phase in the core of compact stars and also for perturbations propagating in the low temperature quark-gluon plasma formed in low energy heavy ion collisions, to be carried out at FAIR and NICA.
We have pointed out the possibility of quantum Hall effect or quantum patterns of transportation in a degenerate strongly magnetized quark matter, which might be expected inside a highly dense compact star. An anisotropic pattern of electrical conduc
tivity and resistivity tensor in classical and quantum cases is explored by considering cyclotron motion and Landau quantization respectively. With increasing magnetic field, classical to quantum transitions are realized through enhanced/reduced resistivity/conductivity with jumping pattern. Considering QCD relaxation time scale of 10 fm, $eBapprox (1-4) m_pi^2$ might be considered as strong magnetic field for massless and degenerate quark matter with quark chemical potential $muapprox 0.2-0.4$ GeV. Beyond these threshold ranges of magnetic field, perpendicular motion of quarks might be stopped and 3 $rightarrow$ 1 dimensionally reduced conduction picture might be established.
Stationary axisymmetric metric describing the exterior field of a rotating, charged sphere endowed with magnetic dipole moment is presented and discussed. It has a remarkably simple multipole structure defined by only four nonzero Hoenselaers-Perjes relativistic moments.
