We study effects of CP violation in the associated production of a charged Higgs boson and a top quark at the LHC, $pp to tH^pm + X$. We calculate the CP violating asymmetry between the total cross section for $H^+$ and $H^-$ production at next-to-leading order in the MSSM, and perform a detailed numerical analysis. In the production the asymmetry is of the order of 20%. The asymmetry in the production and any subsequent decay of an on-shell charged Higgs boson is to a good approximation the sum of the asymmetry in the production and the asymmetry in the decay. We consider subsequent decays of $H^pm $ to $t b$, $ u_tau tau^pm$ and $W h^0$. In the case with $H^pm to t b$ decay, mainly due to CP violating box graphs with gluino, the asymmetry can go up to $sim$ 12%.

We investigate the viability of observing charged Higgs bosons (H^pm) produced in association with W bosons at the CERN Large Hadron Collider, using the leptonic decay H^+ -> tau^+ nu_tau and hadronic W decay, within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standa rd Model. Performing a parton level study we show how the irreducible Standard Model background from W + 2 jets can be controlled by applying appropriate cuts. In the standard m_h^max scenario we find a viable signal for large tan beta and intermediate H^pm masses (~ m_t).
The dominant contributions to W-+ H+- production at the LHC are the tree-level b anti-b annihilation and the gg fusion. We perform for the case of the complex MSSM a complete calculation of the NLO EW corrections to the b anti-b annihilation channel and a consistent combination with other contributions including the standard and SUSY QCD corrections and the gg fusion, with resummation of the leading radiative corrections to the bottom-Higgs couplings and the neutral Higgs-boson propagators. We observe a large CP-violating asymmetry, arising mainly from the gg channel.

We study the production of $(t+bar{t}) tilde{g}$ at the hadron colliders in an R-parity ($R_{p}$) violating supersymmetric model. This process provides us with information not only about $R_{p}$ violation, but may also help us in detecting the supers ymmetry itself. It is possible to detect an $R_{p}$ violating signal (with single gluino production) at the future hadron colliders, such as Fermilab Tevatron Run II or CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC), if the parameters in the supersymmetric $rlap/ R_{p}$ interactions are not too small, e.g. for $m_{tilde{g}}=1$ TeV, $lambda^{}=0.1$, still hundreds of events are produced at LHC with luminosity $30 fb^{-1}$. Even if we could not detect a signal of $ rlap/R_{p}$ in the experiment, we get stringent constraints on the heavy flavour $rlap/R_{p}$ couplings. In addition to the minimal supersymmetric standard model we have also considered some models with a heavy gluino as the lightest supersymmetric particle.
We perform threshold resummation of soft gluon corrections to the total cross section and the invariant mass distribution for the process $pp to tbar{t}H$. The resummation is carried out at next-to-next-to-leading-logarithmic (NNLL) accuracy using th e direct QCD Mellin space technique in the three-particle invariant mass kinematics. After presenting analytical expressions we discuss the impact of resummation on the numerical predictions for the associated Higgs boson production with top quarks at the LHC. We find that NLO+NNLL resummation leads to predictions for which the central values are remarkably stable with respect to scale variation and for which theoretical uncertainties are reduced in comparison to NLO predictions.
The CP nature of the Higgs coupling to top quarks is addressed in this paper, in single charged lepton final states of $tbar{t}h$ events produced in proton-proton collisions at the LHC. Pure scalar ($h=H$) and pseudo-scalar ($h=A$) Higgs boson signal events, generated with MadGraph5_aMC@NLO, are fully reconstructed using a kinematic fit. Angular distributions of the decay products, as well as CP-sensitive asymmetries, are exploited to separate and gain sensitivity to possible pseudo-scalar components of the Higgs boson and reduce the contribution from the dominant irreducible background $tbar{t}bbar{b}$. Significant differences are found between the pure CP-even and -odd signal hypotheses as well as with respect to the Standard Model background, in particular the $tbar{t} bbar{b}$ contribution. Such differences survive the event reconstruction, allowing to define optimal observables to extract the Higgs couplings parameters from a global fit. A dedicated analysis is applied to efficiently identify signal events and reject as much as possible the expected Standard Model background. The results obtained are compared with a similar analysis in the dilepton channel. We show that the single lepton channel is more promising overall and can be used in combination to study the CP nature of the Higgs coupling to top quarks.
