The gamma d to K^+K^-pn reaction has been studied to search for the evidence of the Theta^+ by detecting K^+K^- pairs at forward angles. The Fermi-motion corrected nK^+ invariant mass distribution shows a narrow peak at 1.524 +- 0.002 + 0.003 GeV/c^2. The statistical significance of the peak calculated from a shape analysis is 5.1 sigma, and the differential cross-section for the gamma n to K^- Theta^+ reaction is estimated to be 12 +- 2 nb/sr in the photon energy range from 2.0 GeV to 2.4 GeV in the LEPS angular range by assuming the isotropic production of the Theta^+ in the gamma n center-of-mass system. The obtained results support the existence of the Theta^+.

For the first time, the reaction gamma d -> Lambda n K+ has been analyzed in order to search for the exotic pentaquark baryon Theta+(1540). The data were taken at Jefferson Lab, using the Hall-B tagged-photon beam of energy between 0.8 and 3.6 GeV an d the CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer (CLAS). No statistically significant structures were observed in the nK+ invariant mass distribution. The upper limit on the gamma d -> Lambda Theta+ integrated cross section has been calculated and found to be between 5 and 25 nb, depending on the production model assumed. The upper limit on the differential cross section is also reported.
The real and imaginary parts of the bar K^0 d scattering length are extracted from the bar K^0 d mass spectrum obtained from the reaction pp to d bar K^0 K^+ measured recently at the Cooler Synchrotron COSY at Julich. We extract a new limit on the K^ - d scattering length, namely Im a le 1.3 fm and |Re a| le 1.3 fm. The limit for the imaginary part of the K^- d scattering length is supported by data on the total K^- d cross sections.
The E885 collaboration utilized the 1.8 GeV/c K^- beam line at the AGS to accumulate 3 x 10^5 (K^-,K^+) events. Xi hypernuclear states are expected to be produced through the reaction K^- + ^{12}C -> K^+ + ^{12}_{Xi}Be. The measured missing-mass spec trum indicates the existence of a signal below the threshold for free Xi production. Although the resolution was not sufficient to resolve discrete hypernuclear states, the excess of events in the region of missing mass, kinematically inaccessible in free Xi production, is compared to theoretical prediction for ^{12}_{Xi}Be production.

Correlated $Lambda d$ pairs emitted after the absorption of negative kaons at rest $K^{-}_{stop}Ato Lambda d A$ in light nuclei $^6Li$ and $^{12}C$ are studied. $Lambda$-hyperons and deuterons are found to be preferentially emitted in opposite direct ions. The $Lambda d$ invariant mass spectrum of $^6Li$ shows a bump whose mass is 3251$pm$6 MeV/c$^2$. The bump mass (binding energy), width and yield are reported. The appearance of a bump is discussed in the realm of the [$bar{K}3N$] clustering process in nuclei. The experiment was performed with the FINUDA spectrometer at DA$Phi$NE (LNF).
We have observed a $K^-pp$-like structure in the $d(pi^+,K^+)$ reaction at 1.69 GeV/$c$. In this reaction $Lambda(1405)$ hyperon resonance is expected to be produced as a doorway to form the $K^-pp$ through the $Lambda^*prightarrow K^-pp$ process. Ho wever, most of the produced $Lambda(1405)$s would escape from deuteron without secondary reactions. Therefore, coincidence of high-momentum ($>$ 250~MeV/$c$) proton(s) in large emission angles ($39^circ<theta_{lab.}<122^circ$) was requested to enhance the signal-to-background ratio. A broad enhancement in the proton coincidence spectra are observed around the missing-mass of 2.27 GeV/$c^2$, which corresponds to the $K^-pp$ binding energy of 95 $^{+18}_{-17}$ (stat.) $^{+30}_{-21}$ (syst.) MeV and the width of 162 $^{+87}_{-45}$ (stat.) $^{+66}_{-78}$ (syst.) MeV.
