The total yields of the all well-established light mesonic resonances (up to the $phi$(1020) meson) are estimated in neutrinonuclear interactions at < E_nu > = 10 GeV, using the data obtained with SKAT bubble chamber. For some resonances, the yields in the forward and backward hemispheres in the hadronic c.m.s. are also extracted. From the comparison of the obtained and available higher-energy data, an indication is obtained that the resonance yields rise almost linearly as a function of the mean mass < W > of the neutrinoproduced hadronic system. The fractions of pions originating from the light resonance decays are inferred.

Using the data obtained with SKAT bubble chamber, the total yields of $K^+(892)$, $Sigma^+(1385)$ and $Sigma^0$ are estimated for the first time in neutrino-induced reactions at moderate energies ($<E_{ u}>$ = 10.4 GeV). It is shown, that the recentl y observed cite{ref1,ref2} enhancement of the $K^0$ and $Lambda$ yields in $ u A$ interactions (as compared to $ u N$ interactions) is contributed only slightly by the $K^+(892)$ and $Sigma^+(1385)$ production, respectively. The decay contribution to the $K^0$ and $Lambda$ yields is found to be in qualitative agreement with higher energy ($<E_ u> geq$ 40 GeV) data. It is shown, that the energy dependence of the $K^+(892)$ mean multiplicity in $ u N$ interactions is approximately linear in the range of $<E_{ u}> approx$ 10-60 GeV, while that for $Sigma^0$ in $ u A$ interactions (for $A$ = 20-21) is approximately logarithmic in the range of $<E_{ u}> approx$ 10-150 GeV.
The production of D* and D mesons in inelastic scattering of 160 GeV/c muons off a ^6LiD target has been investigated with the COMPASS spectrometer at CERN for 0.003 (GeV/c)^2 < Q^2 < 10 (GeV/c)^2 and 3x10^-5< x_Bj < 0.1. The study is based on 8100 e vents where a D^0 or anti D^0 is detected subsequently to a D*+ or D*- decay, and on 34000 events, where only a D^0 or anti D^0 is detected. Kinematic distributions of D*, D and K*_2 are given as a function of their energy E, transverse momentum p_T, energy fraction z, and of the virtual photon variables nu, Q^2 and x_Bj. Semi-inclusive differential D* production cross-sections are compared with theoretical predictions for D* production via photon-gluon fusion into open charm. The total observed production cross-section for D*+/- mesons with laboratory energies between 22 and 86 GeV is 1.9 nb. Significant cross-section asymmetries are observed between D*+ and D*- production for nu<40 GeV and z>0.6.
The inclusive production cross sections of the strange vector mesons K*0, K*0bar, and phi have been measured in interactions of 920 GeV protons with C, Ti, and W targets with the HERA-B detector at the HERA storage ring. Differential cross sections a s a function of rapidity and transverse momentum have been measured in the central rapidity region and for transverse momenta up to pT=3.5 GeV/c. The atomic number dependence is parametrised as sigma(pA) = sigma(pN)*A**alpha, where sigma(pN) is the proton-nucleon cross section. Within the phase space accessible, alpha(K*0) = 0.86+/-0.03, alpha(K*0bar) = 0.87+/-0.03, and alpha(phi) = 0.96+/-0.02. The total proton-nucleon cross sections, determined by extrapolating the differential measurements to full phase space, are sigma(pN->K*0) = 5.06+/-0.54 mb, sigma(pN->K*0bar) = 4.02+/-0.45 mb, and sigma(pN->phi) = 1.17+/-0.11 mb. The Cronin effect is observed for the first time for vector mesons containing strange quarks; compared to the measurements of Cronin et al. for K+- mesons, the measured values of alpha for phi mesons coincide with those of K- mesons for all transverse momenta, while the enhancement for K*0 / K*0bar mesons is smaller.
We measure neutrino charged current quasielastic-like scattering on hydrocarbon at high statistics using the wide-band NuMI beam with neutrino energy peaked at 6 GeV. The double-differential cross section is reported in terms of muon longitudinal and transverse momentum. Cross-section contours versus lepton momentum components are approximately described by a conventional generator-based simulation, however discrepancies are observed for transverse momenta above 0.5 GeV/c for longitudinal momentum ranges 3 to 5 GeV/c and 9 to 20 GeV/c. The single differential cross section versus momentum transfer squared ($dsigma/dQ_{QE}^2$) is measured over a four-decade range of $Q^2$ that extends to $10~GeV^2$. The cross section turn-over and fall-off in the $Q^2$ range 0.3 to $10~GeV^2$ is not fully reproduced by generator predictions that rely on dipole form factors. Our measurement probes the axial-vector content of the hadronic current and complements the electromagnetic form factor data obtained using electron-nucleon elastic scattering. These results help oscillation experiments because they probe the importance of various correlations and final-state interaction effects within the nucleus, which have different effects on the visible energy in detectors.

The NA60 experiment has studied low-mass muon pair production in proton-nucleus collisions with a system of Be, Cu, In, W, Pb and U targets, using a 400 GeV proton beam at the CERN SPS. The transverse momentum spectra of the $rho/omega$ and $phi$ mes ons are measured in the full $p_mathrm{T}$ range accessible, from $p_mathrm{T} = 0$ up to 2 GeV/$c$. The nuclear dependence of the production cross sections of the $eta$, $omega$ and $phi$ mesons has been found to be consistent with the power law $sigma_mathrm{pA} propto mathrm{A}^alpha$, with the $alpha$ parameter increasing as a function of $p_mathrm{T}$ for all the particles, and an approximate hierarchy $alpha_eta approx alpha_phi > alpha_omega$. The cross section ratios $sigma_eta/sigma_omega$, $sigma_rho/sigma_omega$ and $sigma_phi/sigma_omega$ have been studied as a function of the size A of the production target, and an increase of the $eta$ and $phi$ yields relative to the $omega$ is observed from p-Be to p-U collisions.
