We propose pure quantum parton model of soft interactions. The model is based on soft partons which interact eikonally and locally in a transverse plane. We directly construct S-matrix operator and partons Fock space using developed method of discretization of a transverse plane. Counting inelastic states we explicitly derive AGK cancellations and cutting rules from relation between inclusive and exclusive parton distributions. We also discuss black disk behavior from the point of view of our model.

We investigate the one-gluon-exchange ($alpha alpha_s$) corrections to the real photon structure functions $W_{TT} $, $W_{LT}$, $W_{TT}^{a} $ and $W_{TT}^tau$ in the massive parton model. We employ a technique based on the Cutkosky rules and the re duction of Feynman integrals to master integrals. We show that a positivity constraint, which is derived from the Cauchy-Schwarz inequality, is satisfied among the unpolarized and polarized structure functions $W_{TT}$, $W_{TT}^a$ and $W_{TT}^tau$ calculated up to the next-to-leading order in QCD.
We present a model that realizes both resonance-Regge (Veneziano) and parton-hadron (Bloom-Gilman) duality. We first review the features of the Veneziano model and we discuss how parton-hadron duality appears in the Bloom-Gilman model. Then we review limitations of the Veneziano model, namely that the zero-width resonances in the Veneziano model violate unitarity and Mandelstam analyticity. We discuss how such problems are alleviated in models that construct dual amplitudes with Mandelstam analyticity (so-called DAMA models). We then introduce a modified DAMA model, and we discuss its properties. We present a pedagogical model for dual amplitudes and we construct the nucleon structure function F2(x,Q2). We explicitly show that the resulting structure function realizes both Veneziano and Bloom-Gilman duality.
In this letter we show that for observables which involve the measurement of weak charge in final states in hadronic collisions, the standard parton model picture breaks down at scales well above the weak scale due to nonfactorizable electroweak corr ections at leading order in the power expansion. This implies that the resummation of these factorization-violating logarithms, which start at order $alpha_s^2, alpha_W^2 log^4(Q^2/M_W^2)$, cannot be accomplished solely by following standard DGLAP evolution equations; other techniques will be needed to systematically sum large logarithms.
Recently the concept of quasi parton distributions (quasi-PDFs) for hadrons has been proposed. Quasi-PDFs are defined through spatial correlation functions and as such can be computed numerically using quantum chromodynamics on a four-dimensional lat tice. As the hadron momentum is increased, the quasi-PDFs converge to the corresponding standard PDFs that appear in factorization theorems for many high-energy scattering processes. Here we investigate this new concept in the case of generalized parton distributions (GPDs) by calculating the twist-2 vector GPDs in the scalar diquark spectator model. For infinite hadron momentum, the analytical results of the quasi-GPDs agree with those of the standard GPDs. Our main focus is to examine how well the quasi-GPDs agree with the standard GPDs for finite hadron momenta. We also study the sensitivity of the results on the parameters of the model. In general, our model calculation suggests that quasi-GPDs could be a viable tool for getting information about standard GPDs.
We show how the double parton distributions may be obtained consistently from the many-body light-cone wave functions. We illustrate the method on the example of the pion with two Fock components. The procedure, by construction, satisfies the Gaunt-S tirling sum rules. The resulting single parton distributions of valence quarks and gluons are consistent with a phenomenological parametrization at a low scale.
