We study pair production of scalar top quarks in polarized photon-photon collisions with the subsequent decay of the top squarks into b-quarks and charginos. We simulate this process by using PYTHIA6.4 for an electron beam energy 2E_beam =1000 GeV. A set of criteria for physical variables is proposed which leads to a good separation of stop signal events from top quark pair production being the main background. These criteria allow us to reconstruct the mass of the top squark provided that the neutralino mass is known.

We study the pair production of scalar top quarks in e+e- collisions with the subsequent decay of the top squarks into b-quarks and charginos. We simulate this process using PYTHIA6.4 for beam energies 2E_beam = 350, 400, 500, 800, 1000 GeV. Proposin g a set of criteria we obtain a good separation of the signal stop events from top quark pair production which is the main background. The number of stop production events obtained with the proposed cuts for different energies is calculated for an integrated luminosity of 1000 1/fb. We propose a method to reconstruct the mass of the top squark, provided the mass of the lightest neutralino is known, and estimate the error of the mass determination for the case sqrt{s} = 500 GeV.

Top quark pair production by (polarized) gamma gamma collisions offers an interesting testing ground of the Standard Model and its extensions. In this Letter we present results for differential cross sections of top quark pair production and decay in cluding QCD radiative corrections. We take into account the full dependence on the top quark spins. We give analytic and numerical results for single and double differential angular distributions of t tbar decay products which are due to top quark polarizations and spin correlations in the intermediate state.

A review of results on top quark physics expected at the Photon Linear Colliders is presented.
Full one-loop electroweak-corrections for an $e^-e^+rightarrow t bar{t}$ process associated with sequential $trightarrow b mu u_mu$ decay are discussed. At the one-loop level, the spin-polarization effects of the initial electron and positron beams a re included in the total and differential cross sections. A narrow-width approximation is used to treat the top-quark production and decay while including full spin correlations between them. We observed that the radiative corrections due to the weak interaction have a large polarization dependence on both the total and differential cross sections. Therefore, experimental observables that depend on angular distributions such as the forward-backward asymmetry of the top production angle must be treated carefully including radiative corrections. We also observed that the energy distribution of bottom quarks is majorly affected by the radiative corrections.
We present a comparative study of various approaches for modelling of the $e^+ u_e mu^- bar{ u}_mu bbar{b} gamma$ final state in $tbar{t}gamma$ production at the LHC. Working at the NLO in QCD we compare the fully realistic description of the top qu ark decay chain with the one provided by the narrow-width-approximation. The former approach comprises all double, single and non-resonant diagrams, interferences, and off-shell effects of the top quarks. The latter incorporates only double resonant contributions and restricts the unstable top quarks to on-shell states. We confirm that for the integrated cross sections the finite top quark width effects are small and of the order of ${cal O}(Gamma_t/m_t)$. We show, however, that they are strongly enhanced for more exclusive observables. In addition, we investigate fractions of events where the photon is radiated either in the production or in the decay stage. We find that large fraction of isolated photons comes from radiative decays of top quarks. Based on our findings, selection criteria might be developed to reduce such contributions, that constitute a background for the measurement of the anomalous couplings in the $tbar{t}gamma$ vertex.
