We investigate the effect of unparticles in the pure $ b to d $ penguin processes $ B^0 to K^0 bar K^0$ and $B^{+,0} to phi pi^{+,0} $. Since these processes receive dominant contributions due to the {it top} quark in the loop, direct and mixing-induced CP asymmetry parameters in these processes are expected to be vanishingly small in the standard model. We find that due to the unparticle effect sizable nonzero CP violation could be possible in these channels.

We have investigated the effects of unparticles in decays $B to l u$. It is found that the direct CP violation in the decays, which is zero in SM, can show up due to the CP conserving phase intrinsic in unparticle physics. For $l=tau$, the direct CP asymmetry can reach 30% for the scalar unparticle contribution, and 100% for the longitudinal vector unparticle contribution under the constraints of ${rm Br}(Btotau u)$ and $ u e$ elastic scattering. If both unparticle-lepton coupling universality and unparticle-quark coupling universality are assumed the constraint from $Br(pito mu u)$ leads that the direct CP violation in $Bto l u$ can only reach at most 8% and 1% for scalar and vector unparticle contributions respectively if $d_{cal U} < 2$. If the direct CP violation is observed in the future it would give strong evidence for the existence of unparticle stuff.

A measurement of the photon polarization in radiative penguin $B$ decays provides a test of the Standard Model and a probe for New Physics, that can lead to a deviation from the Standard Model prediction of left-handed photons in $bto s gamma$. We pr opose a new method to measure the photon polarization using the baryonic decay $B^- to Lambdabar{p} gamma$. The $P$-violating $Lambda$-hyperon decay allows a measurement of the $Lambda$ helicity to be performed, which can be uniquely related to the photon polarization in a model-independent way. The $B^- to Lambdabar{p} gamma$ decay was recently measured to have a large branching fraction providing a possibility to get meaningful results with the data already available at LHC and B-factory experiments. An increase of the $B$-meson sample at high luminosity LHC experiments and Belle II should provide a really stringent test by using this method already in the near future.
We consider two-loop QCD corrections to the element $Gamma_{12}^q$ of the decay matrix in $B_q-bar{B}_q$ mixing, $q=d,s$, in the leading power of the Heavy Quark Expansion. The calculated contributions involve one current-current and one penguin oper ator and constitute the next step towards a theory prediction for the width difference $DeltaGamma_s$ matching the precise experimental data. We present compact analytic results for all matching coefficients in an expansion in $m_c/m_b$ up to second order. Our new corrections are comparable in size to the current experimental error and slightly increase $DeltaGamma_s$.

We study unparticle physics effects in (Lambda_b -> Lambda + missing energy) decay with polarized $Lambda_b$ and $Lambda$ baryons. The sensitivity of the branching ratio of this decay and polarizations of (Lambda_b) and (Lambda) baryons on the scale dimension d_U and effective cut-off parameter (Lambda_U) are discussed.

An overview of the measurements of b->sgamma, b->dgamma and b->sll penguin transitions at the B Factories is presented.
