v2: We improved a little bit according to the referees wishes. v1: On $X$ projective smooth over a field $k$, Pink and Roessler conjecture that the dimension of the Hodge cohomology of an invertible $n$-torsion sheaf $L$ is the same as the one of its $a$-th power $L^a$ if $a$ is prime to $n$, under the assumptions that $X$ lifts to $W_2(k)$ and $dim Xle p$, if $k$ has characteristic $p>0$. They show this if $k$ has characteristic 0 and if $n$ is prime to $p$ in characteristic $p>0$. We show the conjecture in characteristic $p>0$ if $n=p$ assuming in addition that $X$ is ordinary (in the sense of Bloch-Kato).

We study the Hodge filtration on the local cohomology sheaves of a smooth complex algebraic variety along a closed subscheme Z in terms of log resolutions, and derive applications regarding the local cohomological dimension, the Du Bois complex, loca l vanishing, and reflexive differentials associated to Z.
We provide a criterion for a coherent sheaf to be an Ulrich sheaf in terms of a certain bilinear form on its global sections. When working over the real numbers we call it a positive Ulrich sheaf if this bilinear form is symmetric or hermitian and po sitive definite. In that case our result provides a common theoretical framework for several results in real algebraic geometry concerning the existence of algebraic certificates for certain geometric properties. For instance, it implies Hilberts theorem on nonnegative ternary quartics, via the geometry of del Pezzo surfaces, and the solution of the Lax conjecture on plane hyperbolic curves due to Helton and Vinnikov.

We give a new simple proof of boundedness of the family of semistable sheaves with fixed numerical invariants on a fixed smooth projective variety. In characteristic zero our method gives a quick proof of Bogomolovs inequality for semistable sheaves on a smooth projective variety of any dimension $ge 2$ without using any restriction theorems.
We use (non-)additive sheaves to introduce an (absolute) notion of Hochschild cohomology for exact categories as Exts in a suitable bisheaf category. We compare our approach to various definitions present in the literature.

We introduce the notion of mixed-$omega$-sheaves and use it for the study of a relative version of Fujitas freeness conjecture.
