This paper is devoted to the measurement of the fully inclusive absolute branching ratios of the charged kaon semileptonic decays, $K^{pm}topi^0e^pm u(gamma)$ and $K^pm to pi^0mu^pm u(gamma)$. The measurements have been done using a tag technique, employing the two-body decays, $K^pm to mu^pm u$ and $K^pm to pi^pmpi^0$, and using a sample of about 410 pb$^{-1}$ collected during the 2001 and 2002 data taking of the KLOE experiment at Daphne, the Frascati $phi$-factory. The results obtained are BR(K$^pm_{e3}$) = $0.04965 (38)_{Stat} (37)_{Syst}$ and BR(K$^pm_{mu3}$) = $0.03233 (29)_{Stat} (26)_{Syst}$.

We have measured the charged kaon lifetime using a sample of 15 times 10^6 tagged kaon decays. Charged kaons were produced in pairs at the DAPhiNE phi-factory, e^+e^- to phi to K^+ K^-. The decay of a K^+ was tagged by the production of a K^- and vic eversa. The lifetime was obtained, for both charges, from independent measurements of the decay time and decay lenght distributions. From fits to the four distributions we find tau = (12.347pm0.030) ns.
Preliminary result on the charged kaon lifetime, obtained by the KLOE experiment operating at DA$Phi$NE, the Frascati $phi$-factory, is presented
The two most recent and precise measurements of the charged kaon mass use X-rays from kaonic atoms and report uncertainties of 14 ppm and 22 ppm yet differ from each other by 122 ppm. We describe the possibility of an independent mass measurement usi ng the measurement of Cherenkov light from a narrow-band beam of kaons, pions, and protons. This technique was demonstrated using data taken opportunistically by the Main Injector Particle Production experiment at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory which recorded beams of protons, kaons, and pions ranging in momentum from +37 GeV/c to +63 GeV/c. The measured value is 491.3 +/- 1.7 MeV/c^2, which is within 1.4 sigma of the world average. An improvement of two orders of magnitude in precision would make this technique useful for resolving the ambiguity in the X-ray data and may be achievable in a dedicated experiment.
Using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 567 pb$^{-1}$ collected at a center-of-mass energy of $sqrt{s}=4.6$ GeV with the BESIII detector, we measure the absolute branching fraction of the inclusive semileptonic $Lambda_c^+$ d ecay with a double-tag method. We obtain $mathcal{B}(Lambda_c^+ rightarrow X e^+ u_e) = (3.95pm0.34pm0.09)%$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. Using the known $Lambda_c^+$ lifetime and the charge-averaged semileptonic decay width of nonstrange charmed measons ($D^0$ and $D^+$), we obtain the ratio of the inclusive semileptonic decay widths $Gamma(Lambda_c^+ rightarrow X e^+ u_e)/bar{Gamma}(Drightarrow X e^+ u_e)= 1.26pm0.12$.

Kaon physics can test new-physics effects in leptonic or semileptonic decays. A unitarity test of the first row of the CKM mixing matrix is obtained from the precision measurements of Kl3 widths for K{pm}, KL, and (unique to KLOE) KS. The KLOE measur ement of RK = {Gamma}(Ke2)/{Gamma}(K{mu}2) with an accuracy at the % level, aims at finding evidence of deviations from the SM prediction induced by lepton-flavor violation new-physics effects.
