We describe RHIC pion data in central A+A collisions and make predictions for LHC based on hydro-kinetic model, describing continuous 4D particle emission, and initial conditions taken from Color Glass Condensate (CGC) model.

Single particle transverse mass spectra and HBT radii of identical pion and identical kaon are analyzed with a blast-wave parametrization under the assumptions local thermal equilibrium and transverse expansion. Under the assumptions, temperature par ameter $T$ and transverse expansion rapidity $rho$ are sensitive to the shapes of transverse mass $m_text T$ spectrum and HBT radius $R_text{s}(K_text T)$. Negative and positive correlations between $T$ and $rho$ are observed by fitting $m_text{T}$ spectrum and HBT radius $R_text s (K_text T)$, respectively. For a Monte Carlo simulation using the blast-wave function, $T$ and $rho$ are extracted by fitting $m_T$ spectra and HBT radii together utilizing a combined optimization function $chi^2$. With this method, $T$ and $rho$ of the Monte Carlo sources can be extracted. Using this method for A Multi-Phase Transport model (AMPT) at RHIC energy, the differences of $T$ and $rho$ between pion and kaon are observed obviously, and the tendencies of $T$ and $rho$ vs collision energy $sqrt{s_text{NN}}$ are similar with the results extracted directly from the AMPT model.
Direct photon spectra and elliptic flow v2 in heavy-ion collisions at RHIC and LHC energies are investigated within a relativistic transport approach incorporating both hadronic and partonic phases - the Parton-Hadron-String Dynamics (PHSD). The resu lts suggest that a large v2 of the direct photons - as observed by the PHENIX Collaboration - signals a significant contribution of photons produced in interactions of secondary mesons and baryons in the late stages of the collision. In order to further differentiate the origin of the direct photon azimuthal asymmetry, we compare our predictions for the centrality dependence of the direct photon yield to the recent measurements by the PHENIX Collaboration and provide predictions for Pb+Pb collisions at LHC energies with respect to the direct photon spectra and v2(pT) for 0-40% centrality.
We present a calculation of the elliptic flow and azimuthal dependence of the correlation radii in the ellipsoidally symmetric generalization of the Buda-Lund model. The elliptic flow is shown to depend only on the flow anisotropy while in case of co rrelation radii both flow and space anisotropy play an important role in determining their azimuthal oscillation. We also outline a simple procedure for determining the parameters of the model from data.
The Linear Boltzmann Transport (LBT) model coupled to hydrodynamical background is extended to include transport of both light partons and heavy quarks through the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) in high-energy heavy-ion collisions. The LBT model includes b oth elastic and inelastic medium-interaction of both primary jet shower partons and thermal recoil partons within perturbative QCD (pQCD). It is shown to simultaneously describe the experimental data on heavy and light flavor hadron suppression in high-energy heavy-ion collisions for different centralities at RHIC and LHC energies. More detailed investigations within the LBT model illustrate the importance of both initial parton spectra and the shapes of fragmentation functions on the difference between the nuclear modifications of light and heavy flavor hadrons. The dependence of the jet quenching parameter $hat{q}$ on medium temperature and jet flavor is quantitatively extracted.
The hydrokinetic model is applied to restore the initial conditions and space-time picture of the matter evolution in central Au+Au collisions at the top RHIC energy. The analysis is based on the detailed reproduction of the pion and kaon momentum sp ectra and femtoscopic data in whole interval of the transverse momenta studied by both STAR and PHENIX collaborations. A good description of the pion and kaon transverse momentum spectra and interferometry radii is reached with both initial energy density profiles motivated by the Glauber and Color Glass Condensate (CGC) models, however, at different energy densities.
