Here we present KLOE results on the phi meson decays in pi0 pi0 gamma, pi+ pi- gamma and eta pi0 gamma, the measurement of the ratio Br(phi to eta gamma)/Br(phi to eta gamma) with the estimate of the eta gluonium content and the measurement of the eta mass.

Working at a $phi$-factory, KLOE/KLOE-2 has collected a very large and clean sample of $eta$ decays, which allow to perform a variety of precision measurements. This report presents the recent results on the $eta$-meson decays from KLOE/KLOE-2 experi ments, including the search of the $C$-violating decay $etarightarrowgammagammagamma$, the determination of the $CP$ asymmetry in $etarightarrowpi^+pi^-e^+e^-$, the precision measurement of the $etarightarrowpi^+pi^-pi^0$ Dalitz plot distribution, the search for the $CP$-violating decay $etarightarrowpi^+pi^-$ and the precision measurement of ${cal O}(p^6)$ dominated decay $etarightarrowgammagammapi^0$.

The KLOE Collaboration completed the full data taking on March 2006, acquiring 2.5 fb ^ -1 at the peak of the phi and other 240 pb ^ -1 off-peak. A new Collaboration is working on a new project, called KLOE-2, to refine and extend the KLOE physics pr ogram. We present here some preliminary and published results from the KLOE Collaboration on the pseudoscalar eta meson and the study of gamma gamma processes, that are among the main points of the KLOE-2 physics program.

While measuring the ratio R_K = Gamma(K+e2(gamma))/Gamma(K+mu2(gamma)), the KLOE Collaboration has studied the radiative process Ke2gamma. The ratio of the width for the Ke2gamma decay with a positively polarized photon from structure-dependent radia tion to the inclusive Kmu2(gamma) width is found to be 1.484(68) 10-5. The observed radiation spectrum agrees with predictions from chiral perturbation theory and is in contrast with predictions based on the light front quark model. This result reduces the contribution to systematic uncertainties on measurements of R_K. In a separate study, KLOE has measured the ratio of the radiative Ke3gamma decay width to the inclusive Ke3(gamma) width to be 924(28) 10-5. The distribution in energy and angle of the radiative photon has been analyzed in an attempt to isolate the signature from interference of the inner-bremsstrahlung and structure-dependent amplitudes.
The decay $J/psi rightarrow gamma gamma phi$ is studied using a sample of $1.31 times10^{9}$ $J/psi$ events collected with the BESIII detector. Two structures around 1475 MeV/c$^2$ and 1835 MeV/c$^2$ are observed in the $gamma phi$ invariant mass spe ctrum for the first time. With a fit on the $gamma phi$ invariant mass, which takes into account the interference between the two structures, and a simple analysis of the angular distribution, the structure around 1475 MeV/c$^2$ is found to favor an assignment as the $eta(1475)$ and the mass and width for the structure around 1835 MeV/c$^2$ are consistent with the $X(1835)$. The statistical significances of the two structures are $13.5 sigma$ and $6.3 sigma$, respectively. The results indicate that both $eta(1475)$ and $X(1835)$ contain a sizeable $sbar{s}$ component.
Investigation at a $phi$--factory can shed light on several debated issues in particle physics. We discuss: i) recent theoretical development and experimental progress in kaon physics relevant for the Standard Model tests in the flavor sector, ii) th e sensitivity we can reach in probing CPT and Quantum Mechanics from time evolution of entangled kaon states, iii) the interest for improving on the present measurements of non-leptonic and radiative decays of kaons and eta/eta$^prime$ mesons, iv) the contribution to understand the nature of light scalar mesons, and v) the opportunity to search for narrow di-lepton resonances suggested by recent models proposing a hidden dark-matter sector. We also report on the $e^+ e^-$ physics in the continuum with the measurements of (multi)hadronic cross sections and the study of gamma gamma processes.
