In frame of a phenomenological approach based on Compton-like Feynman amplitudes, we study multi-pion production in antiproton nucleon collisions. The main interest of this reaction is related to the possibility to study the properties of the presumable $bar N N$ atom and of its resonances. For the case of formation of a scalar or pseudoscalar resonant state, with $I^G(J^{P})=1^-(0^{pm}),~0^+(0^-)$ numerical results are obtained. The differential cross section in an experimental set-up where the pions invariant mass is measured, is given with explicit dependence on the lepton pair and pions invariant mass.

Using a data sample of $772 times 10^6$ BB pairs collected on the ${Upsilon}(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider, we report the observations of $B^0to p{bar p}pi^+pi^-$ and $B^+ to p{bar p}pi^+pi^0$. We measure a decay branching fraction of $(0.83 pm 0.17 pm 0.17) times 10^-6$ in $B^0to p{bar p}pi^+pi^-$ for $M_{pi^+pi^-} < 1.22 GeV/c^2$ with a significance of 5.5 standard deviations. The contribution from $B0 to p{bar p}K^0$ is excluded. We measure a decay branching fraction of $(4.58 pm 1.17 pm 0.67) times 10^-6$ for $B^+ to p{bar p}pi^+pi^0$ with $M_{pi^+pi^0} < 1.3 GeV/c^2$ with a significance of 5.4 standard deviations. We study the difference of the $M_{p{bar p}}$ distributions in $B^0to p{bar p}pi^+pi^-$ and $B^+ to p{bar p}pi^+pi^0$.
The s-channel annihilation of proton and antiproton into a neutral pion and a real or virtual photon followed by lepton pair emission is studied. Such mechanism is expected to play a role at moderate values of the total energy $sqrt{s}$, when the pio n is emitted around $90^{circ}$ in the center of mass. A fair comparison with the existing data is obtained taking into account scattering and annihilation channels. The cross section is calculated and numerical results are given in the kinematical range accessible in the PANDA experiment at FAIR.
Very compelling deviations in the recently observed lepton nonuniversality observables $big (R_{D^{(*)}}, R_{K^{(*)}}, R_{J/psi} big )$ of semileptonic $B$ meson decays from their Standard Model predictions hint towards the presence of some kind of n ew physics beyond it. In this regard, we investigate the effect of new physics in the semileptonic $bar B_{d(s)}^* to P ell bar{ u}_ell$ decay processes, where $P=D,pi (D_s,K$), in a model independent way. We consider the presence of additional vector and scalar type interactions and constrain the corresponding new couplings by fitting ${rm Br(B_{u}^+ to tau^+ u_tau)}$, ${rm Br(B to pi tau bar u_tau)}$, ${rm Br(B_{c}^+ to tau^+ u_tau)}$, $R_pi^l$, $R_{D^{(*)}}$ and $R_{J/psi}$ data. Using the constrained new parameters, we estimate the branching ratios, forward-backward asymmetry, lepton-spin asymmetry and lepton non-universality observables of $bar B_{d,s}^{*} to P tau bar u_tau$ processes. We find that the branching ratios of these decay modes are sizeable and deviate significantly (for vector-type couplings) from their corresponding standard model values, which are expected to be within the reach of Run III of Large Hadron Collider experiment.
Besides being important to determine Standard Model parameters such as the CKM matrix elements $|V_{cb}|$ and $|V_{ub}|$, semileptonic $B$ decays seem also promising to reveal new physics (NP) phenomena, in particular in connection with the possibili ty of uncovering lepton flavour universality (LFU) violating effects. In this view, it could be natural to connect the tensions in the inclusive versus exclusive determinations of $|V_{cb}|$ to the anomalies in the ratios $R(D^{(*)})$ of decay rates into $tau$ vs $mu, e$. However, the question has been raised about the role of the parametrization of the hadronic $B to D^{(*)}$ form factors in exclusive $B$ decay modes. We focus on the fully differential angular distributions of $bar B to D^* ell^-{bar u}_ell$ with $D^* to D pi$ or $D^* to D gamma$, the latter mode being important in the case of $B_s to D_s^*$ decays. We show that the angular coefficients in the distributions can be used to scrutinize the role of the form factor parametrization and to pin down deviations from SM. As an example of a NP scenario, we include a tensor operator in the $b to c$ semileptonic effective Hamiltonian, and discuss how the angular coefficients allow to construct observables sensitive to this structure, also defining ratios useful to test LFU.
In this paper we summarize our recent results for low energy associated charmonium production cross sections, using 1) crossing symmetry, and 2) an explicit hadronic model. These predictions are of relevance to the planned charmonium and charmonium hybrid production experiment PANDA at GSI.
