The main purpose of this paper is to investigate commuting flows and integrable systems on the configuration spaces of planar linkages. Our study leads to the definition of a natural volume form on each configuration space of planar linkages, the notion of cross products of integrable systems, and also the notion of multi-Nambu integrable systems. The first integrals of our systems are functions of Bott-Morse type, which may be used to study the topology of configuration spaces. Dedicated to Anatoly T. Fomenko on the occasion of his 75th birthday
We introduce a new method to establish time-quantitative density in flat dynamical systems. First we give a shorter and different proof of our earlier result that a half-infinite geodesic on an arbitrary finite polysquare surface P is superdense on P
We show that on any non-integrable finite polysquare translation surface, superdensity, an optimal form of time-quantitative density, leads to an optimal form of time-quantitative uniformity that we call super-micro-uniformity.
By applying a singular perturbation approach, canard limit cycles exhibited by a general family of singularly perturbed planar piecewise linear (PWL) differential systems are analyzed. The performed study involves both hyperbolic and non-hyperbolic c
In this paper Arnold diffusion is proved to be a generic phenomenon in nearly integrable convex Hamiltonian systems with arbitrarily many degrees of freedom: $$ H(x,y)=h(y)+eps P(x,y), qquad xinmathbb{T}^n, yinmathbb{R}^n,quad ngeq 3. $$ Under typica
We examine the diffraction properties of lattice dynamical systems of algebraic origin. It is well-known that diverse dynamical properties occur within this class. These include different orders of mixing (or higher-order correlations), the presence
