We consider a spatially flat FLRW universe. We assume that it is filled with dark energy in the form of logotropic dark fluid coupled with dark matter in the form of a perfect fluid having a barotropic equation of state. We employ dynamical system tools to obtain a complete qualitative idea of the evolution of such a universe. It is interesting to note that we ought to consider an approximation for the pressure of the logotropic dark fluid in the form of an infinite series so as to be able to construct the autonomous system required for a dynamical system study. This series form provides us with a power law in the rest-mass energy density of the logotropic dark fluid. We compute the critical points of the autonomous system and analyze these critical points by applying linear stability theory. Our analysis reveal a scenario of late-time accelerated universe dominated by the logotropic fluid which behaves as cosmological constant, preceded by an intermediate phase of the Universe dominated by logotropic fluid which behaves as dark matter in the form of perfect fluid. Moreover, it also crosses the phantom divide line.

We investigate a cosmological model in which dark energy identified with the vacuum energy which is running and decaying. In this model vacuum is metastable and decays into a bare (true) vacuum. This decaying process has a quantum nature and is descr ibed by tools of the quantum decay theory of unstable systems. We have found formulas for an asymptotic behavior of the energy density of dark energy in the form of a series of inverse powers of the cosmological time. We investigate the dynamics of FRW models using dynamical system methods as well as searching for exact solutions. From dynamical analysis we obtain different evolutional scenarios admissible for all initial conditions. For the interpretation of the dynamical evolution caused by the decay of the quantum vacuum we study the thermodynamics of the apparent horizon of the model as well as the evolution of the temperature. For the early Universe, we found that the quantum effects modified the evolution of the temperature of the Universe. In our model the adiabatic approximation is valid and the quantum vacuum decay occurs with an adequate unknown particle which constitutes quantum vacuum. We argue that the late-time evolution of metastable energy is the holographic dark energy.
We here study extended classes of logotropic fluids as textit{unified dark energy models}. Under the hypothesis of the Anton-Schmidt scenario, we consider the universe obeying a single fluid whose pressure evolves through a logarithmic equation of st ate. This result is in analogy with crystals under isotropic stresses. Thus, we investigate thermodynamic and dynamical consequences by integrating the speed of sound to obtain the pressure in terms of the density, leading to an extended version of the Anton-Schmidt cosmic fluids. Within this picture, we get significant outcomes expanding the Anton-Schmidt pressure in the infrared regime. The low-energy case becomes relevant for the universe to accelerate without any cosmological constant. We therefore derive the effective representation of our fluid in terms of a Lagrangian $mathcal{L}=mathcal{L}(X)$, depending on the kinetic term $X$ only. We analyze both the relativistic and non-relativistic limits. In the non-relativistic limit we construct both the Hamiltonian and Lagrangian in terms of density $rho$ and scalar field $vartheta$, whereas in the relativistic case no analytical expression for the Lagrangian can be found. Thus, we obtain the potential as a function of $rho$, under the hypothesis of irrotational perfect fluid. We demonstrate that the model represents a natural generalization of emph{logotropic dark energy models}. Finally, we analyze an extended class of generalized Chaplygin gas models with one extra parameter $beta$. Interestingly, we find that the Lagrangians of this scenario and the pure logotropic one coincide in the non-relativistic regime.

Today we have a solid, if incomplete, physical picture of how inertia is created in the standard model. We know that most of the visible baryonic `mass in the Universe is due to gluonic back-reaction on accelerated quarks, the latter of which attribu te their own inertia to a coupling with the Higgs field -- a process that elegantly and self-consistently also assigns inertia to several other particles. But we have never had a physically viable explanation for the origin of rest-mass energy, in spite of many attempts at understanding it towards the end of the nineteenth century, culminating with Einsteins own landmark contribution in his Annus Mirabilis. Here, we introduce to this discussion some of the insights we have garnered from the latest cosmological observations and theoretical modeling to calculate our gravitational binding energy with that portion of the Universe to which we are causally connected, and demonstrate that this energy is indeed equal to mc^2 when the inertia m is viewed as a surrogate for gravitational mass.
We study the phase space dynamics of cosmological models in the theoretical formulations of non-minimal metric-torsion couplings with a scalar field, and investigate in particular the critical points which yield stable solutions exhibiting cosmic acc eleration driven by the {em dark energy}. The latter is defined in a way that it effectively has no direct interaction with the cosmological fluid, although in an equivalent scalar-tensor cosmological setup the scalar field interacts with the fluid (which we consider to be the pressureless dust). Determining the conditions for the existence of the stable critical points we check their physical viability, in both Einstein and Jordan frames. We also verify that in either of these frames, the evolution of the universe at the corresponding stable points matches with that given by the respective exact solutions we have found in an earlier work (arXiv: 1611.00654 [gr-qc]). We not only examine the regions of physical relevance for the trajectories in the phase space when the coupling parameter is varied, but also demonstrate the evolution profiles of the cosmological parameters of interest along fiducial trajectories in the effectively non-interacting scenarios, in both Einstein and Jordan frames.

We propose a dark energy model with a logarithmic cosmological fluid which can result in a very small current value of the dark energy density and avoid the coincidence problem without much fine-tuning. We construct a couple of dynamical models that could realize this dark energy at very low energy in terms of four scalar fields quintessence and discuss the current acceleration of the Universe. Numerical values can be made to be consistent with the accelerating Universe with adjustment of the two parameters of the theory. The potential can be given only in terms of the scale factor, but the explicit form at very low energy can be obtained in terms of the scalar field to yield of the form V(phi)=exp(-2phi)(frac{4 A}{3}phi+B). Some discussions and the physical implications of this approach are given.
