In this paper, we explore the stability of the energy landscape of an Ising Hamiltonian when subjected to two kinds of perturbations: a perturbation on the coupling coefficients and external fields, and a perturbation on the underlying graph structure. We give sufficient conditions so that the ground states of a given Hamiltonian are stable under perturbations of the first kind in terms of order preservation. Here by order preservation we mean that the ordering of energy corresponding to two spin configurations in a perturbed Hamiltonian will be preserved in the original Hamiltonian up to a given error margin. We also estimate the probability that the energy gap between ground states for the original Hamiltonian and the perturbed Hamiltonian is bounded by a given error margin when the coupling coefficients and local external magnetic fields of the original Hamiltonian are i.i.d. Gaussian random variables. In the end we show a concrete example of a system which is stable under perturbations of the second kind.

We show that the local density of states (LDOS) of a wide class of tight-binding models has a weak body-order expansion. Specifically, we prove that the resulting body-order expansion for analytic observables such as the electron density or the energ y has an exponential rate of convergence both at finite Fermi-temperature as well as for insulators at zero Fermi-temperature. We discuss potential consequences of this observation for modelling the potential energy landscape, as well as for solving the electronic structure problem.
We consider ferromagnetic long-range Ising models which display phase transitions. They are long-range one-dimensional Ising ferromagnets, in which the interaction is given by $J_{x,y} = J(|x-y|)equiv frac{1}{|x-y|^{2-alpha}}$ with $alpha in [0, 1)$, in particular, $J(1)=1$. For this class of models one way in which one can prove the phase transition is via a kind of Peierls contour argument, using the adaptation of the Frohlich-Spencer contours for $alpha eq 0$, proposed by Cassandro, Ferrari, Merola and Presutti. As proved by Frohlich and Spencer for $alpha=0$ and conjectured by Cassandro et al for the region they could treat, $alpha in (0,alpha_{+})$ for $alpha_+=log(3)/log(2)-1$, although in the literature dealing with contour methods for these models it is generally assumed that $J(1)gg1$, we can show that this condition can be removed in the contour analysis. In addition, combining our theorem with a recent result of Littin and Picco we prove the persistence of the contour proof of the phase transition for any $alpha in [0,1)$. Moreover, we show that when we add a magnetic field decaying to zero, given by $h_x= h_*cdot(1+|x|)^{-gamma}$ and $gamma >max{1-alpha, 1-alpha^* }$ where $alpha^*approx 0.2714$, the transition still persists.
In this paper, we provide new proofs of the existence and the condensation of Bethe roots for the Bethe Ansatz equation associated with the six-vertex model with periodic boundary conditions and an arbitrary density of up arrows (per line) in the reg ime $Delta<1$. As an application, we provide a short, fully rigorous computation of the free energy of the six-vertex model on the torus, as well as an asymptotic expansion of the six-vertex partition functions when the density of up arrows approaches $1/2$. This latter result is at the base of a number of recent results, in particular the rigorous proof of continuity/discontinuity of the phase transition of the random-cluster model, the localization/delocalization behaviour of the six-vertex height function when $a=b=1$ and $cge1$, and the rotational invariance of the six-vertex model and the Fortuin-Kasteleyn percolation.

We review developments made since 1959 in the search for a closed form for the susceptibility of the Ising model. The expressions for the form factors in terms of the nome $q$ and the modulus $k$ are compared and contrasted. The $lambda$ generalized correlations $C(M,N;lambda)$ are defined and explicitly computed in terms of theta functions for $M=N=0,1$.
We study the stability of quantum pure states and, more generally, subspaces for stochastic dynamics that describe continuously--monitored systems. We show that the target subspace is almost surely invariant if and only if it is invariant for the ave rage evolution, and that the same equivalence holds for the global asymptotic stability. Moreover, we prove that a strict linear Lyapunov function for the average evolution always exists, and latter can be used to derive sharp bounds on the Lyapunov exponents of the associated semigroup. Nonetheless, we also show that taking into account the measurements can lead to an improved bound on stability rate for the stochastic, non-averaged dynamics. We discuss explicit examples where the almost sure stability rate can be made arbitrary large while the average one stays constant.
