A new idea for the quantization of dynamic systems, as well as space time itself, using a stochastic metric is proposed. The quantum mechanics of a mass point is constructed on a space time manifold using a stochastic metric. A stochastic metric space is, in brief, a metric space whose metric tensor is given stochastically according to some appropriate distribution function. A mathematically consistent model of a space time manifold equipping a stochastic metric is proposed in this report. The quantum theory in the local Minkowski space can be recognized as a classical theory on the stochastic Lorentz-metric-space. A stochastic calculus on the space time manifold is performed using white noise functional analysis. A path-integral quantization is introduced as a stochastic integration of a function of the action integral, and it is shown that path-integrals on the stochastic metric space are mathematically well-defined for large variety of potential functions. The Newton--Nelson equation of motion can also be obtained from the Newtonian equation of motion on the stochastic metric space. It is also shown that the commutation relation required under the canonical quantization is consistent with the stochastic quantization introduced in this report. The quantum effects of general relativity are also analyzed through natural use of the stochastic metrics. Some example of quantum effects on the universe is discussed.

In this paper, a version of polymer quantum mechanics, which is inspired by loop quantum gravity, is considered and shown to be equivalent, in a precise sense, to the standard, experimentally tested, Schroedinger quantum mechanics. The kinematical co rnerstone of our framework is the so called polymer representation of the Heisenberg-Weyl (H-W) algebra, which is the starting point of the construction. The dynamics is constructed as a continuum limit of effective theories characterized by a scale, and requires a renormalization of the inner product. The result is a physical Hilbert space in which the continuum Hamiltonian can be represented and that is unitarily equivalent to the Schroedinger representation of quantum mechanics. As a concrete implementation of our formalism, the simple harmonic oscillator is fully developed.
Hilbert space combines the properties of two fundamentally different types of mathematical spaces: vector space and metric space. While the vector-space aspects of Hilbert space, such as formation of linear combinations of state vectors, are routinel y used in quantum mechanics, the metric-space aspects of Hilbert space are much less exploited. Here we show that a suitable metric stratifies Fock space into concentric spheres. Maximum and minimum distances between wave functions are derived and geometrically interpreted in terms of this metric. Unlike the usual Hilbert-space analysis, our results apply also to the reduced space of only ground-state wave functions and to that of particle densities, each of which forms a metric space but not a Hilbert space. The Hohenberg-Kohn mapping between densities and ground-state wave functions, which is highly complex and nonlocal in coordinate description, is found, for three different model systems, to be very simple in metric space, where it is represented by a monotonic mapping of vicinities onto vicinities. Surprisingly, it is also found to be nearly linear over a wide range of parameters.
We study the distribution and generation of quantum coherence for two-mode and multi-mode Gaussian states in de Sitter space. It is found that the quantum coherence is redistributed among the mode in different open charts under the curvature effect o f de Sitter space. In particular, the Gaussian coherence for the initially correlated state is found to survive in the limit of infinite curvature, while quantum entanglement vanishing in this limit. Unlike entanglement and steering, the coherence of a massive scalar field is more robust than a massless field under the influence of curvature of de Sitter space. In addition, it is shown that the curvature generates two-mode Gaussian state and three-mode Gaussian state quantum coherence among the open charts, even though the observers are localized in causally disconnected regions. It is worth noting that the gravity-generated three-mode coherence is extremely sensitive to the curvature effect for the conformal and massless scalar fields, which may be in principle employed to design an effective detector for the space curvature.

We study the distribution of quantum steerability for continuous variables between two causally disconnected open charts in de Sitter space. It is shown that quantum steerability suffers from sudden death in de Sitter space, which is quite different from the behaviors of entanglement and discord because the latter always survives and the former vanishes only in the limit of infinite curvature. In addition, we find that the attainment of maximal steerability asymmetry indicates a transition between unidirectional steerable and bidirectional steerable. Unlike in the flat space, the asymmetry of quantum steerability can be completely destroyed in the limit of infinite curvature for the conformal and massless scalar fields in de Sitter space.
A compact detector for space-time metric and curvature is highly desirable. Here we show that quantum spatial superpositions of mesoscopic objects, of the type which would in principle become possible with a combination of state of the art techniques and taking into account the known sources of decoherence, could be exploited to create such a detector. By using Stern-Gerlach (SG) interferometry with masses much larger than atoms, where the interferometric signal is extracted by measuring spins, we show that accelerations as low as $5times10^{-15}textrm{ms}^{-2}textrm{Hz}^{-1/2}$ or better, as well as the frame dragging effects caused by the Earth, could be sensed. Constructing such an apparatus to be non-symmetric would also enable the direct detection of curvature and gravitational waves (GWs). The GW sensitivity scales differently from the stray acceleration sensitivity, a unique feature of MIMAC. We have identified mitigation mechanisms for the known sources of noise, namely Gravity Gradient Noise (GGN), uncertainty principle and electro-magnetic forces. Hence it could potentially lead to a meter sized, orientable and vibrational noise (thermal/seismic) resilient detector of mid (ground based) and low (space based) frequency GWs from massive binaries (the predicted regimes are similar to those targeted by atom interferometers and LISA).
