In this paper we analyze the multi-matrix model arising from the intermediate field representation of the tensor model with all quartic melonic interactions. We derive the saddle point equation and the Schwinger-Dyson constraints. We then use them to describe the leading and next-to-leading eigenvalues distribution of the matrices.

In this paper we discuss two constructions of an effective field theory starting from a local interaction functional. One relies on the well-established graphical combinatorics of the BPHZ algorithm to renormalize divergent Feynman amplitudes. The ot her, more recent and due to Costello, relies on an inductive construction of local counterterms that uses no graphical combinatorics whatsoever. We show that these two constructions produce the same effective field theory.

We suggest a field extension of the classical elliptic Ruijsenaars-Schneider model. The model is defined in two different ways which lead to the same result. The first one is via the trace of a chain product of $L$-matrices which allows one to introd uce the Hamiltonian of the model and to show that the model is gauge equivalent to a classical elliptic spin chain. In this way, one obtains a lattice field analogue of the Ruijsenaars-Schneider model with continuous time. The second method is based on investigation of general elliptic families of solutions to the 2D Toda equation. We derive equations of motion for their poles, which turn out to be difference equations in space direction, together with a zero curvature representation for them. We also show that the equations of motion are Hamiltonian. The obtained system of equations can be naturally regarded as a field generalization of the Ruijsenaars-Schneider system. Its lattice version coincides with the model introduced via the first method. The continuum limit in space direction is shown to give the field extension of the Calogero-Moser model known in the literature. The fully discrete version of this construction is also discussed.

We continue to study doubled aspects of algebroid structures equipped with the C-bracket in double field theory (DFT). We find that a family of algebroids, the Vaisman (metric or pre-DFT), the pre- and the ante-Courant algebroids are constructed by t he analogue of the Drinfeld double of Lie algebroid pairs. We examine geometric implementations of these algebroids in the para-Hermitian manifold, which is a realization of the doubled space-time in DFT. We show that the strong constraint in DFT is necessary to realize the doubled and non-trivial Poisson structures but can be relaxed for some algebroids. The doubled structures of twisted brackets and those associated with group manifolds are briefly discussed.
We provide a rigorous lattice approximation of conformal field theories given in terms of lattice fermions in 1+1-dimensions, focussing on free fermion models and Wess-Zumino-Witten models. To this end, we utilize a recently introduced operator-algeb raic framework for Wilson-Kadanoff renormalization. In this setting, we prove the convergence of the approximation of the Virasoro generators by the Koo-Saleur formula. From this, we deduce the convergence of lattice approximations of conformal correlation functions to their continuum limit. In addition, we show how these results lead to explicit error estimates pertaining to the quantum simulation of conformal field theories.
Linking numbers appear in local quantum field theory in the presence of tensor fields, which are closed two-forms on Minkowski space. Given any pair of such fields, it is shown that the commutator of the corresponding intrinsic (gauge invariant) vect or potentials, integrated about spacelike separated, spatial loops, are elements of the center of the algebra of all local fields. Moreover, these commutators are proportional to the linking numbers of the underlying loops. If the commutators are different from zero, the underlying two-forms are not exact (there do not exist local vector potentials for them). The theory then necessarily contains massless particles. A prominent example of this kind, due to J.E. Roberts, is given by the free electromagnetic field and its Hodge dual. Further examples with more complex mass spectrum are presented in this article.
