We propose a GUT model in which visible matter and messengers are treated in unified way what unavoidably leads to messenger-matter mixed Yukawa interactions. Influence of this mixing on the fermion masses and the weak mixing angles is discussed.
In this paper we consider U(1)-gauged Polonyi model with two spurions coupled to a twisted closed string modulus. This offers a consistent setup for metastable SUSY breakdown which allows for moduli stabilization and naturally leads to gauge or hybri
d gauge/gravitational mediation mechanism. Due to the presence of the second spurion one can arrange for a solution of the mu and B_mu problems in a version of modified Giudice-Masiero mechanism, which works both in the limit of pure gauge mediation and in the mixed regime of hybrid mediation.
We analyze behaviour of D3-branes in BGMPZ throat geometry. We show that although single brane has some of the moduli stabilized multi-brane system tends to expand and form a bound state. Such a system loses non-abelian gauge symmetry.
