Let $M$ be a T-motive. We introduce the notion of duality for $M$. Main results of the paper (we consider uniformizable $M$ over $F_q[T]$ of rank $r$, dimension $n$, whose nilpotent operator $N$ is 0): 1. Algebraic duality implies analytic duality (Theorem 5). Explicitly, this means that the lattice of the dual of $M$ is the dual of the lattice of $M$, i.e. the transposed of a Siegel matrix of $M$ is a Siegel matrix of the dual of $M$. 2. Let $n=r-1$. There is a 1 -- 1 correspondence between pure T-motives (all they are uniformizable), and lattices of rank $r$ in $C^n$ having dual (Corollary 8.4).

We consider a locally free sheaf $F$ of dimension 2 on $P^2$. A conic $q$ on $P^2$ is called a jumping conic if the restriction of $F$ to $q$ is not the generic one. We prove that the set of jumping conics is the maximal determinantal variety of a sk ew form. Some properties of this skew form are found.
We show that there exists a connection between two types of objects: some kind of resultantal varieties over C, from one side, and varieties of twists of the tensor powers of the Carlitz module such that the order of 0 of its L-functions at infinity is a constant, from another side. Obtained results are only a starting point of a general theory. We can expect that it will be possible to prove that the order of 0 of these L-functions at 1 (i.e. the analytic rank of a twist) is not bounded --- this is the function field case analog of the famous conjecture on non-boundedness of rank of twists of an elliptic curve over Q. The paper contains a calculation of a non-trivial polynomial determinant.
