We propose that the inclusive $Xi_{bc} to Xi_{cc}^{++}+X$ decay can be a potential discovery channel for beauty-charmed baryons $Xi_{bc}$ at the LHC. The unique feature of this process is that it produces a displaced $Xi_{cc}^{++}$, which makes it al most background free. Within the heavy diquark effective theory, the $Xi_{bc} to Xi_{cc}^{++}+X$ branching ratio is calculated to be about 3%. Further considering the production rate of $Xi_{bc}$ and the detection efficiency of $Xi_{cc}^{++}$, it is expected that hundreds of signal events will be collected by the LHCb Run3.
In this work, we analyze the semi-leptonic decays $bar B^0/D^0 to (a_0(980)^{pm}topi^{pm}eta) l^{mp} u$ within light-cone sum rules. The two and three-body light-cone distribution amplitudes (LCDAs) of the $B$ meson and the only available two-body L CDA of the $D$ meson are used. To include the finite-width effect of the $a_0(980)$, we use a scalar form factor to describe the final-state interaction between the $pieta$ mesons, which was previously calculated within unitarized Chiral Perturbation Theory. The result for the decay branching fraction of the $D^0$ decay is in good agreement with that measured by the BESIII Collaboration, while the branching fraction of the $bar B^0$ decay can be tested in future experiments.
We perform a SU(3) analysis for both semi-leptonic and non-leptonic heavy meson weak decays into a pseudoscalar meson and a fully-light tetraquark in 10 or 27 representation. A reduction of the SU(3) representation tensor for the fully-light tetraqua rks is produced and all the flavor components for each representation tensor are listed. The decay channels we analysis include $B/D to U/T~P~l u$, $B/D to U/T~P $ and $B_c to U/T~P/D$, with $U/T$ represents a fully-light tetraquark in 10 or 27 representation and $P$ is a pseudoscalar meson. Finally, among these results we list all the golden decay channels which are expected to have more possibilities to be observed in experiments.
We present a comprehensive analysis of form factors for two light pseudoscalar mesons induced by scalar, vector, and tensor quark operators. The theoretical framework is based on a combination of unitarized chiral perturbation theory and dispersion r elations. The low-energy constants in chiral perturbation theory are fixed by a global fit to the available data of the two-meson scattering phase shifts. Each form factor derived from unitarized chiral perturbation theory is improved by iteratively applying a dispersion relation. This study updates the existing results in the literature and explores those that have not been systematically studied previously, in particular the two-meson tensor form factors within unitarized chiral perturbation theory. We also discuss the applications of these form factors as mandatory inputs for low-energy phenomena, such as the semi-leptonic decays $B_sto pi^+pi^-ell^+ell^-$ and the $tau$ lepton decay $taurightarrowpi^{-}pi^{0} u_{tau}$, in searches for physics beyond the Standard Model.

We present a path-integral hadronization for doubly heavy baryons. The two heavy quarks in the baryon are approximated as a scalar or axial-vector diquark described by a heavy diquark effective theory. The gluon dynamics are represented by a NJL-Mode l interaction for the heavy diquarks and light quarks, which leads to an effective action of the baryon fields after the quark and diquark fields are integrated out. This effective action for doubly heavy baryon includes the electromagnetic and electroweak interactions, as well as the interaction with light mesons. We also verify the Ward-Takahashi identity at the baryon level, obtain the Isgur-Wise function for weak transitions, and calculate the strong coupling constant of the doubly heavy baryon and pion. Numerical studies are also performed.
We construct a leading-order effective field theory for both scalar and axial-vector heavy diquarks, and consider its power expansion in the heavy diquark limit. By assuming the transition from QCD to diquark effective theory, we derive the most gene ral form for the effective diquark transition currents based on the heavy diquark symmetry. The short-distance coefficients between QCD and heavy diquark effective field theory are also obtained by a tree level matching. With the effective currents in the heavy diquark limit, we perform a reduction of the form factors for semi-leptonic decays of doubly heavy baryons, and find that only one nonperturbative function is remaining. It is shown that this soft function can be related to the Isgur-Wise function in heavy meson transitions. As a phenomenological application, we take a single pole structure for the reduced form factor, and use it to calculate the semi-leptonic decay widths of doubly heavy baryons. The obtained results are consistent with others given in the literature, and can be tested in the future.

As a continuation of our previous work, we investigate the weak decays of doubly-heavy baryons $Xi_{QQ^{prime}}$ into sextet $Sigma_{Q^{prime}}$ with light-cone sum rules. We calculate the form factors for these decays with the parallel light-cone di stribution amplitudes of $Sigma_{Q^{prime}}$. Numerical results of these form factors are used to predict the decay widths and branching ratios of the corresponding semi-leptonic processes. Parametric uncertainties and theoretical analyses are also given in detail. We find that the decay widths of $Xi_{cc}$ and $Xi_{bc}$ decays are several orders of magnitude larger than those of $Xi_{bb}$ decays.
We analyze the weak decay of doubly-heavy baryon decays into anti-triplets $Lambda_Q$ with light-cone sum rules. To calculate the decay form factors, both bottom and charmed anti-triplets $Lambda_b$ and $Lambda_c$ are described by the same set of lea ding twist light-cone distribution functions. With the obtained form factors, we perform a phenomenology study on the corresponding semi-leptonic decays. The decay widths are calculated and the branching ratios given in this work are expected to be tested by future experimental data, which will help us to understand the underlying dynamics in doubly-heavy baryon decays.
Analyses of heavy mesons and baryons hadronic charmless decays using the flavor SU(3) symemtry can be formulated in two different forms. One is to construct the SU(3) irreducible representation amplitude (IRA) by decomposing effective Hamiltonian, an d the other is to draw the topological diagrams (TDA). In the flavor SU(3) limit, we study various $B/Dto PP,VP,VV$, $B_cto DP/DV$ decays, and two-body nonleptonic decays of beauty/charm baryons, and demonstrate that when all terms are included these two ways of analyzing the decay amplitudes are completely equivalent. Furthermore we clarify some confusions in drawing topological diagrams using different ways of describing beauty/charm baryons.
