We investigate various mean value problems involving order three primitive Dirichlet characters. In particular, we obtain an asymptotic formula for the first moment of central values of the Dirichlet L-functions associated to this family, with a powe r saving in the error term. We also obtain a large-sieve type result for order three (and six) Dirichlet characters.

We obtain an asymptotic formula for the smoothly weighted first moment of primitive quadratic Dirichlet L-functions at the central point, with an error term that is square-root of the main term. Our approach uses a recursive technique that feeds the result back into itself, successively improving the error term.
We compute the asymptotics of the fourth moment of the Riemann zeta function times an arbitrary Dirichlet polynomial of length $T^{{1/11} - epsilon}$
