We measure the mass of the eta meson using psi(2S) --> eta J/psi events acquired with the CLEO-c detector operating at the CESR e+e- collider. Using the four decay modes eta --> gamma gamma, 3pi0, pi+pi-pi0, and pi+pi-gamma, we find M(eta)=547.785 +- 0.017 +- 0.057 MeV, in which the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. This result has an uncertainty comparable to the two most precise previous measurements and is consistent with that of NA48, but is inconsistent at the level of 6.5sigma with the much smaller mass obtained by GEM.

We measure the branching fractions of $B^{0} to J/psi eta^{(}{}{}^{)}$ decays with the complete Belle data sample of $772 times 10^{6}$ $Bbar{B}$ events collected at the $Upsilon(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+ e^-$ collider. The results for the branching fractions are: ${cal B}(B^{0} to J/psi eta)=(12.3 pm ^{1.8}_{1.7} pm 0.7) times 10^{-6}$ and ${cal B}(B^{0} to J/psieta) < 7.4 times 10^{-6}$ at 90% confidence level. The $eta-eta$ mixing angle is constrained to be less than $ 42.2^{circ}$ at 90% confidence level.
The cross section for e^+e^- to eta J/psi between sqrt{s}=3.8 GeV/c^2 and 5.3 GeV/c^2 is measured via initial state radiation using 980 fb^{-1} of data on and around the Upsilon(nS)(n=1,2,3,4,5) resonances collected with the Belle detector at KEKB. Two resonant structures at the psi(4040) and psi(4160) are observed in the eta J/psi invariant mass distribution. Fitting the mass spectrum with the coherent sum of two Breit-Wigner functions, one obtains BR(psi(4040)toeta J/psi)cdotGamma_{ee}^{psi(4040)} = (4.8pm0.9pm1.4) eV and BR(psi(4160)toeta J/psi)cdotGamma_{ee}^{psi(4160)} = (4.0pm0.8pm1.4) eV for one solution and BR(psi(4040)toeta J/psi)cdotGamma_{ee}^{psi(4040)} = (11.2pm1.3pm1.9) eV and BR(psi(4160)toeta J/psi)cdotGamma_{ee}^{psi(4160)} = (13.8pm1.3pm2.0) eV for the other solution, where the first errors are statistical and the second are systematic. This is the first measurement of this hadronic transition mode of these two states, and the partial widths to eta J/psi are found to be about 1 MeV. There is no evidence for the Y(4260), Y(4360), psi(4415), or Y(4660) in the eta J/psi final state, and upper limits of their production rates in e^+e^- annihilation are determined.
We have measured several branching ratios for $psi^prime$ decay using the data collected by FNAL E835 experiment during year 2000, obtaining ${cal B}(psi^prime to e^+ e^-) = 0.0068pm0.0001pm0.0004$, ${cal B}(psi^prime to J/psi pi^+ pi^-) = 0.292pm0.005pm0.018$, ${cal B}(psi^prime to J/psi pi^0 pi^0) = 0.167pm0.005pm0.014$ and ${cal B}(psi^prime to J/psi eta) = 0.028pm0.002pm0.002$. We also present a measurement of the dipion mass distribution in the decays $psi^prime to J/psi pi pi$.
Based on a sample of $2.25times 10^{8}$ $J/psi$ events collected with the BESIII detector at BEPCII, a full partial wave analysis on $J/psitogammaetaeta$ was performed using the relativistic covariant tensor amplitude method. The results show that the dominant $0^{++}$ and $2^{++}$ components are from the $f_0(1710)$, $f_0(2100)$, $f_0(1500)$, $f_2(1525)$, $f_2(1810)$ and $f_2(2340)$. The resonance parameters and branching fractions are also presented.
Using a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3 fb^{-1}$, collected by the LHCb experiment in $pp$ collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, the effective lifetime in the $B^0_s rightarrow J/psi eta$ decay mode, $tau_{textrm{eff}}$, is measured to be $tau_{textrm{eff}} = 1.479 pm 0.034~textrm{(stat)} pm 0.011 ~textrm{(syst)}$ ps. Assuming $CP$ conservation, $tau_{textrm{eff}}$ corresponds to the lifetime of the light $B_s^0$ mass eigenstate. This is the first measurement of the effective lifetime in this decay mode.
