A simplified version of the Wigner--transformed time--dependent Hartree--Fock--Bogoliubov equations, leading to a solvable model for finite systems of fermions with pairing correlations, is introduced. In this model, pairing correlations result in a coupling of the Vlasov--type equation for the normal phase--space density with that for the imaginary part of the anomalous density. The effect of pairing correlations on the linear response of the system is studied for a finite one--dimensional system and an explicit expression for the correlated propagator is given.

The quark-meson model is investigated for the two- and three-flavor case extended by contributions of vector mesons under conditions encountered in core-collapse supernova matter. Typical temperature ranges, densities and electron fractions, as found in core-collapse supernova simulations, are studied by implementing charge neutrality and local beta-equilibrium with respect to weak interactions. Within this framework, we analyze the resulting phase diagram and equation of state (EoS) and investigate the impact of undetermined parameters of the model. The EoS turns out to be relatively independent on the entropy per baryon but there are significant changes when going from the two-flavor to the three-flavor case due to the nontrivial contribution from the strange quarks which stay massive even at high densities. While an increasing vector meson coupling constant leads to a substantial stiffening of the EoS, we find that the impact of changing the scalar meson mass is equally strong and results in a softening of the EoS for increasing values.
We derive the equations of motion of relativistic, resistive, second-order dissipative magnetohydrodynamics from the Boltzmann-Vlasov equation using the method of moments. We thus extend our previous work [Phys. Rev. D 98, 076009 (2018)], where we only considered the non-resistive limit, to the case of finite electric conductivity. This requires keeping terms proportional to the electric field $E^mu$ in the equations of motions and leads to new transport coefficients due to the coupling of the electric field to dissipative quantities. We also show that the Navier-Stokes limit of the charge-diffusion current corresponds to Ohms law, while the coefficients of electrical conductivity and charge diffusion are related by a type of Wiedemann-Franz law.
On the basis of the antisymmetrized molecular dynamics (AMD) of wave packets for the quantum system, a novel model (called AMD-V) is constructed by the stochastic incorporation of the diffusion and the deformation of wave packets which is calculated by Vlasov equation without any restriction on the one-body distribution. In other words, the stochastic branching process in molecular dynamics is formulated so that the instantaneous time evolution of the averaged one-body distribution is essentially equivalent to the solution of Vlasov equation. Furthermore, as usual molecular dynamics, AMD-V keeps the many-body correlation and can naturally describe the fluctuation among many channels of the reaction. It is demonstrated that the newly introduced process of AMD-V has drastic effects in heavy ion collisions of 40Ca + 40Ca at 35 MeV/nucleon, especially on the fragmentation mechanism, and AMD-V reproduces the fragmentation data very well. Discussions are given on the interrelation among the frameworks of AMD, AMD-V and other microscopic models developed for the nuclear dynamics.
The solutions of the Wigner-transformed time-dependent Hartree--Fock--Bogoliubov equations are studied in the constant-$Delta$ approximation. This approximation is known to violate particle-number conservation. As a consequence, the density fluctuation and the longitudinal response function given by this approximation contain spurious contributions. A simple prescription for restoring both local and global particle-number conservation is proposed. Explicit expressions for the eigenfrequencies of the correlated systems and for the density response function are derived and it is shown that the semiclassical analogous of the quantum single--particle spectrum has an excitation gap of $2Delta$, in agreement with the quantum result. The collective response is studied for a simplified form of the residual interaction.
We make a systematic study of Li isotopes (A=9,10,11) in the tensor optimized shell model for 9Li and treat the additional valence neutrons in the cluster model approach by taking into account the Pauli-blocking effect caused by the tensor and pairing correlations. We describe the tensor correlations in 9Li fully in the tensor-optimized shell model, where the variation of the size parameters of the single particle orbits is essential for getting strong tensor correlations. We have shown in our previous study that in $^{10,11}$Li the tensor and pairing correlations in 9Li are Pauli-blocked by additional valence neutrons, which make the p-shell configurations pushed up in energy. As a result, the $s^2$ valence neutron component increases to reveal the halo structure of 11Li and the inversion phenomenon of the single particle spectrum in 10Li arises. Following the previous study, we demonstrate the reliability of our framework by performing a detailed systematic analysis of the structures of $^{9,10,11}$Li, such as the charge radius, the spatial correlation of halo neutrons of 11Li and the electromagnetic properties of Li isotopes. The detailed effects of the Pauli-blocking on the spectroscopic properties of $^{10,11}$Li are also discussed. It is found that the blocking acts strongly for the 11Li ground state rather than for 10Li and for the dipole excited states of 11Li, which is mainly caused by the interplay between the tensor correlation in 9Li and the halo neutrons. The results obtained in these analyses clearly show that the inert core assumption of 9Li is not realistic to explain the anomalous structures observed in $^{10,11}$Li. For the dipole excitation spectrum of 11Li, the effect of the final state interactions is discussed in terms of the dipole strength function.
