In this paper, the $Fe$-containing superconductors $Fe_{0.5}Cu_{0.5}Ba_2YCu_2O_{7+delta}$, $Fe_{0.5}Cu_{0.5}BaSrYCu_2O_{7+delta}$ and $Fe_{0.5}Cu_{0.5}Sr_2YCu_2O_{7+delta}$ were successfully prepared by common solid-state reaction followed with a procedure of high pressure synthesis. The structural change and superconducting properties in $(Fe_xCu_{1-x})BaSrYCu_2O_{7+delta}$ ($x$ = 0 $sim$ 1.0) systems were also investigated. Annealing experiments indicate that the occurrence of superconductivity in $Fe_{0.5}Cu_{0.5}(Ba_{1-x}Sr_{x})_2YCu_2O_{7+delta}$ ($x$ = 0, 0.5 and 1) systems is mainly induced by the procedure of high pressure synthesis, which causes the increase of oxygen content and the redistribution of $Fe$ atoms between $Cu(1)$ and $Cu(2)$ sites, but not from possible secondary phase of $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-delta}$, $YBaSrCu_3O_{7-delta}$ or $YSr_2Cu_3O_{7-delta}$ superconductors.

The scope of this article is to report very detailed results of the measurements of magnetic relaxation phenomena in the new Cu$_{0.5}$Fe$_{2.5}$O$_{4}$ nanoparticles and known CuFe$_{2}$O$_{4}$ nanoparticles. The size of synthesized particles is (6.5$pm $1.5)nm. Both samples show the superparamagnetic behaviour, with the well-defined phenomena of blocking of magnetic moment. This includes the splitting of zero-field-cooled and field-cooled magnetic moment curves, dynamical hysteresis, slow quasi-logarithmic relaxation of magnetic moment below blocking temperature. The scaling of the magnetic moment relaxation data at different temperatures confirms the applicability of the simple thermal relaxation model. The two copper-ferrites with similar structures show significantly different magnetic anisotropy density and other magnetic properties. Investigated systems exhibit the consistency of all obtained results.
We have studied the electronic structure of Li$_{1+x}$[Mn$_{0.5}$Ni$_{0.5}$]$_{1-x}$O$_2$ ($x$ = 0.00 and 0.05), one of the promising cathode materials for Li ion battery, by means of x-ray photoemission and absorption spectroscopy. The results show that the valences of Mn and Ni are basically 4+ and 2+, respectively. However, the Mn$^{3+}$ component in the $x$ = 0.00 sample gradually increases with the bulk sensitivity of the experiment, indicating that the Jahn-Teller active Mn$^{3+}$ ions are introduced in the bulk due to the site exchange between Li and Ni. The Mn$^{3+}$ component gets negligibly small in the $x$ = 0.05 sample, which indicates that the excess Li suppresses the site exchange and removes the Jahn-Teller active Mn$^{3+}$.
We have synthesized the single-phase polycrystalline samples of Sn1-xAgxTe, Ag-doped topological crystalline insulator SnTe, with a range of x = 0-0.5 using a high-pressure synthesis method. The crystal structure of Sn1-xAgxTe at room temperature is a cubic NaCl-type structure, which does not vary upon Ag substitution. Bulk superconductivity with a transition temperature of 2.4 K was observed for x = 0.15-0.25, and the optimal Ag content was x = 0.2. The Sn1-xAgxTe superconducting phase will be useful for understanding the superconductivity nature and mechanisms of the carrier-doped SnTe system.
We measured the complex conductivity, $sigma$, of FeSe$_{1-x}$Te$_x$ ($x=0-0.5$) films in the superconducting state which show a drastic increase of the superconducting transition temperature, $T_textrm{c}$, when the nematic order disappears. Since the magnetic penetration depth, $lambda$ $(>$ 400 nm), of Fe(Se,Te) is longer than the typical thickness of the film ($sim$100 nm), we combined the coplanar waveguide resonator and cavity perturbation techniques to evaluate both the real and imaginary parts of $sigma$. Films with a nematic order showed a qualitatively different temperature dependence in penetration depth and quasiparticle scattering time when compared with those without nematic order, suggesting that nematic order influences the superconducting gap structure. Conversely, the proportionality between superfluid density, $n_textrm{s}$ ($proptolambda^{-2}$), and $T_textrm{c}$ was observed irrespective of the presence or absence of nematic order. This result indicates that the amount of superfluid has a stronger impact on the $T_textrm{c}$ of Fe(Se,Te) than the presence or absence of nematic order. Combining these results with band dispersions calculated using density functional theory, we propose that the change of the Fermi surface associated with nematicity is the primary factor influencing the change of $T_textrm{c}$ and the superconducting gap structure in Fe(Se,Te).

We measure the magnetic penetration depth $Deltalambda(T)$ for NdO$_{1-x}$F$_{x}$BiS$_{2}$ ($x$ = 0.3 and 0.5) using the tunnel diode oscillator technique. The $Deltalambda(T)$ shows an upturn in the low-temperature limit which is attributed to the paramagnetism of Nd ions. After subtracting the paramagnetic contributions, the penetration depth $Deltalambda(T)$ follows exponential-type temperature dependence at $Tll T_c$. Both $Deltalambda(T)$ and the corresponding superfluid density $rho_s(T)$ can be described by the BCS model with an energy gap of $Delta(0)$ $approx$ 2.0 $k_BT_c$ for both $x$ = 0.3 and 0.5, suggesting strong-coupling BCS superconductivity in the presence of localized moments for NdO$_{1-x}$F$_{x}$BiS$_{2}$.
