By considering a generalisation of the CPM construction, we develop an infinite hierarchy of probabilistic theories, exhibiting compositional decoherence structures which generalise the traditional quantum-to-classical transition. Analogously to the quantum-to-classical case, these decoherences reduce the degrees of freedom in physical systems, while at the same time restricting the fields over which the systems are defined. These theories possess fully fledged operational semantics, allowing both categorical and GPT-style approaches to their study.

We consider categories over a field $k$ in order to prove that smash extensions and Galois coverings with respect to a finite group coincide up to Morita equivalence of $k$-categories. For this purpose we describe processes providing Morita equivalences called contraction and expansion. We prove that composition of these processes provides any Morita equivalence, a result which is related with the karoubianisation (or idempotent completion) and additivisation of a $k$-category.
In this paper, we study modular categories whose Galois group actions on their simple objects are transitive. We show that such modular categories admit unique factorization into prime transitive factors. The representations of $SL_2(mathbb{Z})$ associated with transitive modular categories are proven to be minimal and irreducible. Together with the Verlinde formula, we characterize prime transitive modular categories as the Galois conjugates of the adjoint subcategory of the quantum group modular category $mathcal{C}(mathfrak{sl}_2,p-2)$ for some prime $p > 3$. As a consequence, we completely classify transitive modular categories. Transitivity of super-modular categories can be similarly defined. A unique factorization of any transitive super-modular category into s-simple transitive factors is obtained, and the split transitive super-modular categories are completely classified.
We classify various types of graded extensions of a finite braided tensor category $cal B$ in terms of its $2$-categorical Picard groups. In particular, we prove that braided extensions of $cal B$ by a finite group $A$ correspond to braided monoidal $2$-functors from $A$ to the braided $2$-categorical Picard group of $cal B$ (consisting of invertible central $cal B$-module categories). Such functors can be expressed in terms of the Eilnberg-Mac~Lane cohomology. We describe in detail braided $2$-categorical Picard groups of symmetric fusion categories and of pointed braided fusion categories.

A notion of balanced pairs in an extriangulated category with a negative first extension is defined in this article. We prove that there exists a bijective correspondence between balanced pairs and proper classes $xi$ with enough $xi$-projectives and enough $xi$-injectives. It can be regarded as a simultaneous generalization of Fu-Hu-Zhang-Zhu and Wang-Li-Huang. Besides, we show that if $(mathcal A ,mathcal B,mathcal C)$ is a recollement of extriangulated categories, then balanced pairs in $mathcal B$ can induce balanced pairs in $mathcal A$ and $mathcal C$ under natural assumptions. As a application, this result gengralizes a result by Fu-Hu-Yao in abelian categories. Moreover, it highlights a new phenomena when it applied to triangulated categories.

The notions of Galois and cleft extensions are generalized for coquasi-Hopf algebras. It is shown that such an extension over a coquasi-Hopf algebra is cleft if and only if it is Galois and has the normal basis property. A Schneider type theorem is proven for coquasi-Hopf algebras with bijective antipode. As an application, we generalize Schauenburgs bialgebroid construction for coquasi-Hopf algebras.
