In relativistic nuclear collisions the production of hadrons with light (u,d,s) quarks is quantitatively described in the framework of the Statistical Hadronization Model (SHM). Charm quarks are dominantly produced in initial hard collisions but interact strongly in the hot fireball and thermalize. Therefore charmed hadrons can be incorporated into the SHM by treating charm quarks as impurities with thermal distributions, while the total charm content of the fireball is fixed by the measured open charm cross section. We call this model SHMc and demonstrate that with SHMc the measured multiplicities of single charm hadrons in lead-lead collisions at LHC energies can be well described with the same thermal parameters as for (u,d,s) hadrons. Furthermore, transverse momentum distributions are computed in a blast-wave model, which includes the resonance decay kinematics. SHMc is extended to lighter collision systems down to oxygen-oxygen and includes doubly- and triply-charmed hadrons. We show predictions for production probabilities of such states exhibiting a characteristic and quite spectacular enhancement hierarchy.

The unified set of yields of particles produced in proton-proton collisions at $sqrt{s}$ = 17.3 GeV (laboratory beam momentum 158 GeV/c) is evaluated, combining the experimental results of the NA49 and NA61/SHINE collaborations at the CERN SPS. With the statistical hadronization code Thermal-Fist we confirm the unacceptably high value of $chi^2$, both in the canonical and grand canonical - strangeness canonical approach, and the common volume for all the hadrons. The use of the energy-dependent width of the Breit-Wigner parametrization for the mass distributions of unstable particles improves the quality of the description of particle yields only slightly. We confirm the observation that exclusion of the $phi$ meson yield makes the fit result acceptable. The complete experimental data set of particle yields can be reasonably fitted if the canonical volumes of hadrons without and with open strangeness are allowed to vary independently. The canonical volume of strangeness was found larger than that for non-strange hadrons, which is compatible with the femtoscopy measurements of p+p system at $sqrt{s} = $ 27.4 MeV and 900 MeV. The model with the best-fit parameters allows to predict the yields of several not yet measured particles emitted from p+p at $sqrt{s}$ = 17.3 GeV.
The lightest hidden-bottom tetraquarks in the dynamical diquark model fill an $S$-wave multiplet consisting of 12 isomultiplets. We predict their masses and dominant bottomonium decay channels using a simple 3-parameter Hamiltonian that captures the core fine-structure features of the model, including isospin dependence. The only experimental inputs needed are the corresponding observables for $Z_b(10610)$ and $Z_b(10650)$. The mass of $X_b$, the bottom analogue to $X(3872)$, is highly constrained in this scheme. In addition, using lattice-calculated potentials we predict the location of the center of mass of the $P$-wave multiplet and find that $Y(10860)$ fits well but the newly discovered $Y(10750)$ does not, more plausibly being a $D$-wave bottomonium state. Using similar methods, we also examine the lowest $S$-wave multiplet of 6 $cbar c sbar s$ states, assuming as in earlier work that $X(3915)$ and $Y(4140)$ are members, and predict the masses and dominant charmonium decay modes of the other states. We again use lattice potentials to compute the centers of mass of higher multiplets, and find them to be compatible with the masses of $Y(4626)$ ($1P$) and $X(4700)$ ($2S$), respectively.
We study the dependence on the quark mass of the compositeness of the lowest-lying odd parity hyperon states. Thus, we pay attention to $Lambda-$like states in the strange, charm and beauty, sectors which are dynamically generated using a unitarized meson-baryon model. In the strange sector we use an SU(6) extension of the Weinberg-Tomozawa meson-baryon interaction, and we further implement the heavy-quark spin symmetry to construct the meson-baryon interaction when charmed or beauty hadrons are involved. In the three examined flavor sectors, we obtain two $J^P=1/2^-$ and one $J^P=3/2^-$ $Lambda$ states. We find that the $Lambda$ states which are bound states (the three $Lambda_b$) or narrow resonances (one $Lambda(1405)$ and one $Lambda_c(2595)$) are well described as molecular states composed of $s$-wave meson-baryon pairs. The $frac{1}{2}^-$ wide $Lambda(1405)$ and $Lambda_c(2595)$ as well as the $frac{3}{2}^-$ $Lambda(1520)$ and $Lambda_c(2625)$ states display smaller compositeness and so they would require new mechanisms, such as $d$-wave interactions.

We perform a systematic analysis of exclusive hadronic channels in e+e- collisions at centre-of-mass energies between 2.1 and 2.6 GeV within the statistical hadronization model. Because of the low multiplicities involved, calculations have been carried out in the full microcanonical ensemble, including conservation of energy-momentum, angular momentum, parity, isospin, and all relevant charges. We show that the data is in an overall good agreement with the model for an energy density of about 0.5 GeV/fm^3 and an extra strangeness suppression parameter gamma_S ~ 0.7, essentially the same values found with fits to inclusive multiplicities at higher energy.

The experimental data on hadron yields and ratios in central Pb+Pb and Au+Au collisions at SPS and RHIC energies, respectively, are analysed within a two-source statistical model of an ideal hadron gas. These two sources represent the expanding system of colliding heavy ions, where the hot central fireball is embedded in a larger but cooler fireball. The volume of the central source increases with rising bombarding energy. Results of the two-source model fit to RHIC experimental data at midrapidity coincide with the results of the one-source thermal model fit, indicating the formation of an extended fireball, which is three times larger than the corresponding core at SPS.
