We study the moduli space of framed flags of sheaves on the projective plane via an adaptation of the ADHM construction of framed sheaves. In particular, we prove that, for certain values of the topological invariants, the moduli space of framed flags of sheaves is an irreducible, nonsingular variety carrying a holomorphic pre-symplectic form.

Let X be a compact connected Riemann surface of genus g > 0 equipped with a nonzero holomorphic 1-form. Let M denote the moduli space of semistable Higgs bundles on X of rank r and degree r(g-1)+1; it is a complex symplectic manifold. Using the translation structure on the open subset of X where the 1-form does not vanish, we construct a natural deformation quantization of a certain nonempty Zariski open subset of M.
In the geometric version of the Langlands correspondence, irregular singular point connections play the role of Galois representations with wild ramification. In this paper, we develop a geometric theory of fundamental strata to study irregular singular connections on the projective line. Fundamental strata were originally used to classify cuspidal representations of the general linear group over a local field. In the geometric setting, fundamental strata play the role of the leading term of a connection. We introduce the concept of a regular stratum, which allows us to generalize the condition that a connection has regular semisimple leading term to connections with non-integer slope. Finally, we construct a symplectic moduli space of meromorphic connections on the projective line that contain a regular stratum at each singular point.
We study holomorphic $(n+1)$-chains $E_nto E_{n-1} to >... to E_0$ consisting of holomorphic vector bundles over a compact Riemann surface and homomorphisms between them. A notion of stability depending on $n$ real parameters was introduced in the work of the first two authors and moduli spaces were constructed by the third one. In this paper we study the variation of the moduli spaces with respect to the stability parameters. In particular we characterize a parameter region where the moduli spaces are birationally equivalent. A detailed study is given for the case of 3-chains, generalizing that of 2-chains (triples) in the work of Bradlow, Garcia-Prada and Gothen. Our work is motivated by the study of the topology of moduli spaces of Higgs bundles and their relation to representations of the fundamental group of the surface.
Let $X$ be a complex analytic manifold, $Dsubset X$ a free divisor with jacobian ideal of linear type (e.g. a locally quasi-homogeneous free divisor), $j: U=X-D to X$ the corresponding open inclusion, $E$ an integrable logarithmic connection with respect to $D$ and $L$ the local system of the horizontal sections of $E$ on $U$. In this paper we prove that the canonical morphisms between the logarithmic de Rham complex of $E(kD)$ and $R j_* L$ (resp. the logarithmic de Rham complex of $E(-kD)$ and $j_!L$) are isomorphisms in the derived category of sheaves of complex vector spaces for $kgg 0$ (locally on $X$)
