In this note we compute the topological Hochschild homology of quotients of DVRs. Along the way we give a short argument for Bokstedt periodicity and generalizations over various other bases. Our strategy also gives a very efficient way to redo the computations of THH (resp. logarithmic THH) of complete DVRs originally due to Lindenstrauss-Madsen (resp. Hesselholt-Madsen).

This note compares two models of the equivariant homotopy type of the smash powers of a spectrum, namely the Bokstedt smash product and the Hill-Hopkins-Ravenel norm.
We construct periodic families of Poincare complexes, partially solving a question of Hodgson that was posed in the proceedings of the 1982 Northwestern homotopy theory conference. We also construct infinite families of Poincare complexes whose top cell falls off after one suspension but which fail to embed in a sphere of codimension one. We give a homotopy theoretic description of the four-fold periodicity in knot cobordism.
We calculate the integral homotopy groups of THH(l) at any prime and of THH(ko) at p=2, where l is the Adams summand of the connective complex p-local K-theory spectrum and ko is the connective real K-theory spectrum.
In this work the equivariant signature of a manifold with proper action of a discrete group is defined as an invariant of equivariant bordisms. It is shown that the computation of this signature can be reduced to its computation on fixed points sets equipped with their tubular neighborhoods. It is given a description of the equivariant vector bundles with action of a discrete group $G$ for the case when the action over the base is proper quasi-free, i.e. the stationary subgroup of any point is finite. The description is given in terms of some classifying space.
We give an algorithm for calculating the RO(S^1)-graded TR-groups of F_p, completing the calculation started by the second author. We also calculate the RO(S^1)-graded TR-groups of Z with mod p coefficients and of the Adams summand ell of connective complex K-theory with V(1)-coefficients. Some of these calculations are used elsewhere to compute the algebraic K-theory of certain Z-algebras.
