Following an article of Dettweiler and Sabbah, this article studies the behaviour of various Hodge invariants by middle additive convolution with a Kummer module. The main result gives the behaviour of the nearby cycle local Hodge numerical data at infinity. We also give expressions for Hodge numbers and degrees of some Hodge bundles without making the hypothesis of scalar monodromy at infinity, which generalizes the resultsof Dettweiler and Sabbah.

We collect evidence in support of a conjecture of Griffiths, Green and Kerr on the arithmetic of extension classes of limiting mixed Hodge structures arising from semistable degenerations over a number field. After briefly summarizing how a result of Iritani implies this conjecture for a collection of hypergeometric Calabi-Yau threefold examples studied by Doran and Morgan, the authors investigate a sequence of (non-hypergeometric) examples in dimensions 1 through 6 arising from Katzs theory of the middle convolution. A crucial role is played by the Mumford-Tate group (of type G2) of the family of 6-folds, and the theory of boundary components of Mumford-Tate domains.

Using a relation due to Katz linking up additive and multiplicative convolutions, we make explicit the behaviour of some Hodge invariants by middle multiplicative convolution, following [DS13] and [Mar18a] in the additive case. Moreover, the main theorem gives a new proof of a result of Fedorov computing the Hodge invariants of hypergeometric equations.

In this paper, we show that the generating function for linear Hodge integrals over moduli spaces of stable maps to a nonsingular projective variety $X$ can be connected to the generating function for Gromov-Witten invariants of $X$ by a series of differential operators ${ L_m mid m geq 1 }$ after a suitable change of variables. These operators satisfy the Virasoro bracket relation and can be seen as a generalization of the Virasoro operators appeared in the Virasoro constraints for Kontsevich-Witten tau-function in the point case. This result is an extension of the work in cite{LW} for the point case which solved a conjecture of Alexandrov.
We study a pair of Calabi-Yau threefolds X and M, fibered in non-principally polarized Abelian surfaces and their duals, and an equivalence D^b(X) = D^b(M), building on work of Gross, Popescu, Bak, and Schnell. Over the complex numbers, X is simply connected while pi_1(M) = (Z/3)^2. In characteristic 3, we find that X and M have different Hodge numbers, which would be impossible in characteristic 0. In an appendix, we give a streamlined proof of Abuafs result that the ring H^*(O) is a derived invariant of complex threefolds and fourfolds. A second appendix by Alexander Petrov gives a family of higher-dimensional examples to show that h^{0,3} is not a derived invariant in any positive characteristic.

The purpose of this note is to share some observations and speculations concerning the asymptotic behavior of Gromov-Witten invariants. They may be indicative of some deep phenomena in symplectic topology that in full generality are outside of the reach of current techniques. On the other hand, many interesting cases can perhaps be treated via combinatorial techniques.
