We introduce a natural nondegeneracy condition for Poisson structures, called holonomicity, which is closely related to the notion of a log symplectic form. Holonomic Poisson manifolds are privileged by the fact that their deformation spaces are as finite-dimensional as one could ever hope: the corresponding derived deformation complex is a perverse sheaf. We develop some basic structural features of these manifolds, highlighting the role played by the divergence of Hamiltonian vector fields. As an application, we establish the deformation-invariance of certain families of Poisson manifolds defined by Feigin and Odesskii, along with the elliptic algebras that quantize them.
A log symplectic manifold is a complex manifold equipped with a complex symplectic form that has simple poles on a hypersurface. The possible singularities of such a hypersurface are heavily constrained. We introduce the notion of an elliptic point of a log symplectic structure, which is a singular point at which a natural transversality condition involving the modular vector field is satisfied, and we prove a local normal form for such points that involves the simple elliptic surface singularities $tilde{E}_6,tilde{E}_7$ and $tilde{E}_8$. Our main application is to the classification of Poisson brackets on Fano fourfolds. For example, we show that Feigin and Odesskiis Poisson structures of type $q_{5,1}$ are the only log symplectic structures on projective four-space whose singular points are all elliptic.
One of the difficulties in doing noncommutative projective geometry via explicitly presented graded algebras is that it is usually quite difficult to show flatness, as the Hilbert series is uncomputable in general. If the algebra has a regular central element, one can reduce to understanding the (hopefully more tractable) quotient. If the quotient is particularly nice, one can proceed in reverse and find all algebras of which it is the quotient by a regular central element (the filtered deformations of the quotient). We consider in detail the case that the quotient is an elliptic algebra (the homogeneous endomorphism ring of a vector bundle on an elliptic curve, possibly twisted by translation). We explicitly compute the family of filtered deformations in many cases and give a (conjecturally exhaustive) construction of such deformations from noncommutative del Pezzo surfaces. In the process, we also give a number of results on the classification of exceptional collections on del Pezzo surfaces, which are new even in the commutative case.
On a complex symplectic manifold we prove a finiteness result for the global sections of solutions of holonomic DQ-modules in two cases: (a) by assuming that there exists a Poisson compactification (b) in the algebraic case. This extends our previous results in which the symplectic manifold was compact. The main tool is a finiteness theorem for R-constructible sheaves on a real analytic manifold in a non proper situation.
The deformed $mathcal W$ algebras of type $textsf{A}$ have a uniform description in terms of the quantum toroidal $mathfrak{gl}_1$ algebra $mathcal E$. We introduce a comodule algebra $mathcal K$ over $mathcal E$ which gives a uniform construction of basic deformed $mathcal W$ currents and screening operators in types $textsf{B},textsf{C},textsf{D}$ including twisted and supersymmetric cases. We show that a completion of algebra $mathcal K$ contains three commutative subalgebras. In particular, it allows us to obtain a commutative family of integrals of motion associated with affine Dynkin diagrams of all non-exceptional types except $textsf{D}^{(2)}_{ell+1}$. We also obtain in a uniform way deformed finite and affine Cartan matrices in all classical types together with a number of new examples, and discuss the corresponding screening operators.
Quantum deformations of the structure constants for a class of associative noncommutative algebras are studied. It is shown that these deformations are governed by the quantum central systems which has a geometrical meaning of vanishing Riemann curvature tensor for Christoffel symbols identified with the structure constants. A subclass of isoassociative quantum deformations is described by the oriented associativity equation and, in particular, by the WDVV equation. It is demonstrated that a wider class of weakly (non)associative quantum deformations is connected with the integrable soliton equations too. In particular, such deformations for the three-dimensional and infinite-dimensional algebras are described by the Boussinesq equation and KP hierarchy, respectively.
