The multinucleon transfer reactions near barrier energies has been investigated with a multistep model based on the dinuclear system (DNS) concept, in which the capture of two colliding nuclei, the transfer dynamics and the de-excitation process of primary fragments are described by the analytical formula, the diffusion theory and the statistical model, respectively. The nucleon transfer takes place after forming the DNS and is coupled to the dissipation of relative motion energy and angular momentum by solving a set of microscopically derived master equations within the potential energy surface. Specific reactions of $^{40,48}$Ca+$^{124}$Sn, $^{40}$Ca ($^{40}$Ar, $^{58}$Ni)+$^{232}$Th, $^{40}$Ca ($^{58}$Ni)+$^{238}$U and $^{40,48}$Ca ($^{58}$Ni) +$^{248}$Cm near barrier energies are investigated. It is found that the fragments are produced by the multinucleon transfer reactions with the maximal yields along the $beta$-stability line. The isospin relaxation is particularly significant in the process of fragment formation. The incident energy dependence of heavy target-like fragments in the reaction of $^{58}$Ni+$^{248}$Cm is analyzed thoroughly.

The isospin equilibration process in multinucleon transfer reaction is investigated by using the improved quantum molecular dynamics model. The collision processes of $^{124}$Xe+$^{208}$Pb at near-barrier energy are studied with different symmetry energy coefficients. We find that neutrons transfer happens earlier than protons. The large symmetry energy promote the transfer of neutrons. The neutron flow from the target to projectile is along the low-density path of neck. The isospin equilibration process in $^{58}$Ni+$^{208}$Pb reaction is also investigated and compared with available experimental data. It shows that $N/Z$ values of the projectile-like products increase rapidly with increasing mass transfer. The complete isospin equilibration events are located in the region of $120<A<150$ which are produced in symmetric fission-type reactions.

Heavy Ion Collisions (HIC) represent a unique tool to probe the in-medium nuclear interaction in regions away from saturation. In this report we present a selection of new reaction observables in dissipative collisions particularly sensitive to the symmetry term of the nuclear Equation of State (Iso-EoS). We will first discuss the Isospin Equilibration Dynamics. At low energies this manifests via the recently observed Dynamical Dipole Radiation, due to a collective neutron-proton oscillation with the symmetry term acting as a restoring force. At higher beam energies Iso-EoS effects will be seen in Imbalance Ratio Measurements, in particular from the correlations with the total kinetic energy loss. For fragmentation reactions in central events we suggest to look at the coupling between isospin distillation and radial flow. In Neck Fragmentation reactions important $Iso-EoS$ information can be obtained from the correlation between isospin content and alignement. The high density symmetry term can be probed from isospin effects on heavy ion reactions at relativistic energies (few AGeV range). Rather isospin sensitive observables are proposed from nucleon/cluster emissions, collective flows and meson production. The possibility to shed light on the controversial neutron/proton effective mass splitting in asymmetric matter is also suggested. A large symmetry repulsion at high baryon density will also lead to an earlier hadron-deconfinement transition in n-rich matter. A suitable treatment of the isovector interaction in the partonic EoS appears very relevant.
Recent STAR data for the directed flow of protons, antiprotons and charged pions obtained within the beam energy scan program are analyzed within the Parton-Hadron-String-Dynamics (PHSD/HSD) transport models. Bo
Within the framework of quantum molecular dynamics transport model, the isospin and in-medium effects on the hyperon production in the reaction of $^{197}$Au + $^{197}$Au are investigated thoroughly. A repulsive hyperon-nucleon potential from the chiral effective field theory is implemented into the model, which is related to the hyperon momentum and baryon density. The correction on threshold energy of the elementary hyperon cross section is taken into account. It is found that the $Sigma$ yields are suppressed in the domain of midrapidity and kinetic energy spectra with the potential. The hyperons are emitted in the reaction plane because of the strangeness exchange reaction and reabsorption process in nuclear medium. The $Sigma^{-}/Sigma^{+}$ ratio depends on the stiffness of nuclear symmetry energy, in particular in the high-energy region (above 500 MeV).

The nuclear fusion is a reaction to form a compound nucleus. It plays an important role in several circumstances in nuclear physics as well as in nuclear astrophysics, such as synthesis of superheavy elements and nucleosynthesis in stars. Here we discuss two recent theoretical developments in heavy-ion fusion reactions at energies around the Coulomb barrier. The first topic is a generalization of the Wong formula for fusion cross sections in a single-channel problem. By introducing an energy dependence to the barrier parameters, we show that the generalized formula leads to results practically indistinguishable from a full quantal calculation, even for light symmetric systems such as $^{12}$C+$^{12}$C, for which fusion cross sections show an oscillatory behavior. We then discuss a semi-microscopic modeling of heavy-ion fusion reactions, which combine the coupled-channels approach to the state-of-the-art nuclear structure calculations for low-lying collective motions. We apply this method to subbarrier fusion reactions of $^{58}$Ni+$^{58}$Ni and $^{40}$Ca+$^{58}$Ni systems, and discuss the role of anharmonicity of the low-lying vibrational motions.
